Description: Sakpata’s first deck is designed to overwhelm opponents with powerful Exemplars that are difficult to remove from the grid. The Sakpata’s First Smiting Deck Set can be used to play the game of Rock independent of the game of Smiting. His first deck contained only beings of his disc.
The 5 Platonic solids, Dice, are called a tetrahedron, hexahedron, octahedron, dodecahedron and icosahedron with 4, 6, 8, 12, and 20 sides respectively.
To play Rock with this set, the deck contains the correct number of duplicate cards required of each card.
Each player (this game is ideal for between 2 and 7 players) rolls a D20 to start and the player with the highest roll shuffles the deck to start play. The shuffler should rotate clockwise at the end of each round. The deck is placed face down in the middle of the table. The shuffler draws two cards from the deck and decides if they will keep or discard their cards; a player is not required to discard a card, but can discard as many as they choose. If they decide to discard, the card or cards are discarded in a face up pile next to the deck. A player can decide to take the top card of the discard pile instead of drawing a card; if a player takes the top card of the discard pile, they would only draw one card from the deck on their turn, and they can take the top two instead of drawing any cards from the deck. A player must take the top card of the discard pile and player should discard cards one by one so that the order of the discard is clear to every player.
Players create Rocks only on their turn and the player with the most rocks at the end of the round wins the round. Players decide before the first round if they will play 3, 5 or 7 rounds and the player who wins the most rounds wins the game.
A player creates a Rock by having three complimentary cards, one Exemplar, one Enhance, and one Material card. It may be possible to create a Rock using three Exemplars or Enhance cards, but the cards indicate if this is possible and generally a Rock consists of one Exemplar, one Enhance, and one Material card. A player can create as many Rocks on their turn as possible. There are some Enhance or Exemplar abilities that prevent opponents from creating rocks on their turn, but that is indicated on the cards.
