Description: Agbe’s first deck is designed to remove as many opponent’s cards in a single turn from the grid. The Agbe’s First Smiting Deck Set can be used to play the game of Wave independent of the game of Smiting. Her first deck contained only beings of her disc.
The 5 Platonic solids, Dice, are called a tetrahedron, hexahedron, octahedron, dodecahedron and icosahedron with 4, 6, 8, 12, and 20 sides respectively.
To play Wave with this set, the deck contains the correct number of duplicate cards required of each card.
Each player rolls a D6 to start and the player with the highest roll deals the cards to start play. The dealer should rotate clockwise at the end of each round. The deck of cards is shuffled and dealt between 2 and 6 players. Players should not look at their cards and should shuffle their individual decks once all cards are dealt. Each player places their deck face down in front of them. The dealer goes first by revealing the top card of their deck. The player decides if they will keep the card in their current by placing it face up in front of their deck, or if they will put the card into the communal Wave, by placing it in the center of the table. Cards placed on a player’s current only impact that player, cards placed in the wave effect every player. Some Enhance cards can only be played in the current or the wave or both, refer to the card to determine where an Enhance card can be played. Generally, players only play one card on their turn, unless they play a card that says otherwise. Play continues this way until all players have played all of their cards; this is the end of the round and the winner is the player who has control of the Wave. Generally, a full game of Wave is six rounds and the player that wins the most rounds wins the game.
To control the Wave, players use their Exemplar and Enhance cards to make the Wave most resemble their current. For example, if a player’s current contains only Nommo Exemplars, they control the Wave if the Wave contains a majority of Nommo Exemplars. Players can use certain Enhance cards to remove cards from the Wave, or to move cards from the Wave to their current. Some Exemplar cards have similar abilities that are activated if they are played in the Wave or the current.
