Zombie Poem 1:

If his eyes are dark, and his mouth is open –

If his hair is frayed and dried to sticks with fluids unidentifiable –

then he rummaged another man’s guts for breakfast.

The man is a zombie.

Zombie Poem 2:

the man was revealed an abuser of salts

crammed in his nose to go blank

the man was a dependent cat

willing to let loose on brutal dogs

zombie of another sort

living dead, victim of bath salts
