Oh hey, I didn’t see you there. I was just writing some poems to process all of these seasonal feelings of unease and angst, a little bit of horror, with a dash of self loathing, thanks in part to the cold weather and the short days. I might as well share; ‘tis the season to ruminate on the dead and dying after all, when nature dies and ghosts haunt, when we are confronted by our worst fears in stories. So enjoy, but tread lightly, I have been in a mood. My dreams these days, they are like horror movies, and in my waking hours I am a zombie going through haggard motions, vital things falling off of me all the time. But I am well in the poetry, I can calm the unease and hyperbole.
