We hope you enjoyed your spooky season. The War of Arcana is ending this issue and you don’t want to miss it. We won’t hold you, but before we close the book on this special, I wanted to shout out my foremothers. My mother and my aunts who are thankfully still living are a constant source of inspiration for me and they remind me that despite how hard things get, I am thankful for another day. I have the same appreciation for all of my deceased foremothers who built homes for my family to thrive. I am infinitely grateful for the family that made me.

It’s the exciting conclusion of the War of Arcana and even though the Baron La Croix kicked things off, it’s the Baron Samedi who finishes strong. Things will never be the same again.

There was a translucent orb of violet that constantly surrounded him and when it interacted with Outer Spacetime, when he simply moved through it, there was a sparkle of energy around the orb that was a visual manifestation of the physical force it took for Samedi to maintain his place in Outer Spacetime.”
