This week:

The battle in Talj rages and our heroes have made smaller teams to attack the Pito head on. The Pito have a scary wall of darkness that follows them. Here’s hoping our heroes are enough.

Smiting Champs: “They are in the void of space and communicate using the helmets from the ships of the Masters of the Universe that they navigated to this sad battle front. It is as though a wall of blackness encroaches on all of space before them and everything behind the wall is black, wrapped in mycelium that either consumes or corrupts it.”

Back in Issue 6, the Death Witches were freed from Kútmómɛ. Detritus worked hard for a very long time to achieve this, but the question is, will the other Death Witches meet her with the same excitement that Detritus has to be reunited with them?

Multiversal Family Tree: “After her brief collaboration with the Mmoatia, Detritus went directly to the Mire of Teal, a large bog located in the overlap between the Discs of Age and Agbe with waters so acidic, only Fonlanders born in the bog could withstand it for long.”

Pultine is the stalwart leader of a legion of heroes in the Talj Junction. Who better to organize and coordinate powerful forces than the Pristine, legendary warrior of the Fonlands?

Wielders of the Green (The Divine Essence 2nd Tel): “Pultine asked that Nwa Wa be summoned holographically from the ship she was in with a large contingent of black-aligned forces from the Disc of Lêgba. There were also ships of red and yellow aligned forces from the Discs of Gu and Xêvioso, and Pultine and her closest advisors were in the ship of white aligned forces.”

Issac spends time with Goldie as the mission in Talj continues. Spectating can be boring, but things heat up on the monitors as the battle rages.

Master’s Log 2100 (The Master of Multiversal Arcana 1st Tel):  “Goldie and I watched the being known as Tenebris through a scrying spell that I cast on the Smiting Card that Goldie had made and we’d been obsessing over. We thought about playing Smiting to pass the time, but it was hard to ignore what was happening in Talj and we decided to watch our new favorite in action.”

Jo and Agbe hold down the Meta Chamber as Agê and Sakpata attempt to calm Talj, and Lêgba and Xêvioso continue there time in the Paradise universe.

Divine Power (acɛ 1st Tel): “Please find some way to hold it,” Agbe says aloud, but she is talking to Agê who is not in the Meta Chamber, “I’m not sure that we have nearly enough data to say that this has been worth the effort. If we must call them back to the Fonlands, the Arcana Master is here to do that whenever it needs to happen, but I’m worried…”

Anansi has arrived at his final trial on his way to becoming a true and legitimate Vodun of Stories. But his last trial is to retrieve a legendary warrior of the Fonlands. Even if she is young, Pultine has always been formidable.

Star Flower (Cotton-Wood 1st Tel.): “Long ago, Anansi went to the Disc of Agê with a smile on his face. He was happy. He had made the disagreeable Luminary Aziza, Obea, proud of him, and he was one step away from securing a legacy as more than the son of a Vodun.”
