It’s here. The dreaded end. It’s not really dreaded, but like I said before, it means the summer is over. But at least we have the holiday season to look forward to. Now that Issue 12 is done, you can look forward to Outtakes from Vol. I as well as the Vol. I Remix. There will be plenty of posts in the very near future about those things, so check back for details. You can also look forward to PRL Halloween Issues all October long. But today is all about Issue 12. Here it is folks, the exciting conclusion!

One last piece of the puzzle to set up the Vol. II debut of Old Man Young. This week, it’s the introduction of the Bronx Avenger.

Old Man Young and the Bronx Avenger One Shots – The Avenger: “Sonny was born in Winston Salem, NC in the eighties, but he moved to NY when he was about eighteen in search of a life that no man in his family had managed to make for themselves. His father was killed when Sonny was still a boy in Winston Salem.”

It’s Max’s last trip to Ladoga in Vol. I. But don’t worry, there will be much more from Max and Ladoga in the coming weeks.

Selections from Rebel Max’s Journal (Vol. 1): In the Park: “Watching [my son] in the park this past weekend, I was amazed at how fast time flies these day. When I was a boy, I couldn’t imagine being in my late twenties; it felt so far away and I never thought that the time would come when I would be a grown up. Maybe it feels that way in your youth because you have so much ahead of you and as you get older, you get sacked with more things that require your attention and the worry of addressing those things eats away at the hours of our day, or numbs us with routine that makes every day bleed into the next.”

The introduction of Silas, star of a new PRL Legacy Series about a man who sees hell every time he goes to sleep. Get ready for more of Silas next month when we feature spooky stories for the Halloween season!

Silas in Hell I (PRL Legacy Series): “Silas has a secret that will eventually lead to his undoing. Silas has not slept in years. Sure, he’s taken naps and usually when he gets in bed with his wife every night, he’ll wake up to the sound of their alarm in the morning. But he has not had deep, restorative sleep in years and it is a wonder that he has maintained his sanity for as long as he has.”

Wes gets some much need reassurance from Valeria that their love is mutual. And Valeria surprises us all with some talents we didn’t know she had.

Superman Lover Part 4: “‘…it feels right. After all that I’ve been through, this feels like the best decision I’ve made in a long time. It’s easy with Valeria.’”

Its time for Stone Hand to make a decision; in light of his conversation with the Critic, will Stone Hand continue as the leader who dozes?

Stone Hand (leaders and Leadership):  “The time comes for men to be great/ to be more than their limits/ the hand that bore Stone Hand insists:/ ‘This is what you were made for’”
