Ariel is a bona fide star, and after the success of her Third Heaven debut, her record company has organized a tour. Before she joins the tour, though, Ariel spends time with her family. Everything is going well until an unexplained event that shakes the neighborhood in the middle of the night.

The Divine Essence:  “Ariel is at the home of her grandmother; the home is now owned by her mother, Nora Baxter, and many of her family live in the house. Ariel has spent a lot of money in the past year to upgrade the home and all of its ten acres are enclosed in fencing and the fences are monitored with cameras.”

Long, long ago, Tracia, the aboatia, and Lolof, the yumbo, sat down together on the Earth of Universe Prime 5 to play a game. This game should have been a pleasant interaction, but something was off. Something had changed between the kin of Agê’s disc, and after this miniseries, things were never the same again.

Swamp Bitches (Pultine’s Greatest Hits): “The man finished digging the shallow pits; two rows of six in parallel lines with two additional long pits on either end. The man stood back from the pits and lifted an arm, a strong hand extended from the wide sleeve, and orbs of light flitted off of his fingertips. The orbs swarmed the area around the shallow holes and between him and Tracia.”

Agiel and Zazel are the reason that Endla is the premier vacation destination of universe Prime 5. Its amazing vistas defy physics with breathtaking beauty that you just have to see to believe. Who would kidnap the architects of such a wonder of the universe?

Vistas of Endla: “Agiel is a kind of twin. His sister Zazel, was conceived so that her birth would coincide with Agiel’s, and they did indeed emerge into the world at the exact same time on Endla to two different mothers. They share the same father, Metatron, the first angel of the Vodun Lêgba created in universe Prime 5.”

The man who changed his name many times gets a proper origin story. If the man with many names is now Daedalus, who is the father of Daedalus? And did the man have any impact on Dae? He wasn’t around during his childhood and Dae can’t even remember the man’s face.

The Trials of Daedalus: “Metion is a flicker of a memory in Dae’s mind. He doesn’t remember Metion exactly, he is a distorted figure in his mind’s eye against settings that were solidified in his memory as he got older. Metion stopped coming around by the time Randall was conceived, so in order to remember the man, Dae has to squint his mind’s eye to produce memories of Metion, and because there were no pictures in his mother’s home, he had no idea what the man looked like.”

Max kicks off Volume 3 of the Shuffle Playlist with a story of a man who loves the nature around his home. He likes to mow and trim bushes, but one night after working hard in the yard, his body changes in a horrific way. But maybe it isn’t the horror to him that it is from the outside looking in.

Shuffle: “Dominick was always excited at the thought of springtime. He enjoyed being outside, and he especially loved the property around his home that he had customized over the decade he had been in the house. He had designed the landscaping so that the majority of his yard was thick, lush grass that was like a carpet when he mowed it, and there were shade trees in the front and back yards that were full and healthy. The front of his ranch-style home was adorned with flowering bushes that displayed vibrant color through September, and he planted rows of flowers along his driveway that gave nice color as well.”

Remember Volumes I-VI of the PRL Serials, when we featured the story of Kevin and his preternatural ability? Well, dear readers, in this serial, we flash forward to a future version of that world. What is the Hyperion universe of Node 1 like some fifty years into the future? Keep reading for an idea.

Before the Darkness: “You know us simple folks on the outskirts of town don’t mess with fancy words like poltergeist. Ain’t ever heard nobody say that word in real life unless they talking about that movie. You gotta go into downtown Ellerson for that.”

It’s the PRL Serials Volume 3! The hot, hot, hottest RPG in this universe or any other.
