Hello and welcome to the 2019 Annual Issue, which also happens to be the last issue of Volume V. This has been a game changing Volume of the serials and things can never be the same again, Par-Cell 77 made sure of that.

We wrap up today with three Volume V staples, including the sad conclusion of Diode with the end of Book 3, Complex Repulsion. They were heroes, and now they are not. Ivan and Clay choose happiness as Maria seems destined for the stars and Alia is committed to assisting Eakran. It all ends here.

Plus! You know we got some Annuals for you. Ivan and Clay may have hung it up, but aunt Bernadette and her ex Kyrie, a master manipulator of the repulsive force, seem to be getting the old team back together. And we check in on Detective Young in Tennessee and Adam at the CZS.

It’s been an epic volume. We hope you enjoyed it dear reader. Check back soon for some Spooky Connections in the Halloween Special!

If their story teaches us anything, it’s that love is a hard thing to maintain. Clay has crossed a line and Ivan worries that he has lost the love of his life. It ends here.

Complex Repulsion (Diode Bk. 3): “Ivan Santana loves Clay Franklin. That fact is indisputable. But Clay killed a man recently and Ivan is worried that the power they share will corrupt Clay beyond recognition. And if it is corrupting Clay, what effect is it having on Ivan?”

Alia is restored, just in time for the end. She and Maria have a heart to heart and they make plans for the future of all mankind.

Alia (Amazing Alia, the Alia Bk. °): “It seems like we run the basement now. Like Eakran is our tool to use. His plan is to help us make the world whatever we think it should be. He’s not a threat anymore.”

I think we can declare the first PRL anthology series a success. We have been around the universe, from the relative end of time and back to the beginning. The end is a new series, an ominous that with a single purpose; to detail the end of the Ascendant in the Quinspace of the relative present.

Universal Family Tree: “There are, or were, or will be, many Ascendant spacecraft homeworlds scattered across many existences. Not only are there many versions of the Ascendant in the prime parallel of existence, there are also many dummy ships scattered throughout time that had been used to test time travel when the Ascendant were rookies with the technology.”

ANNUALS

Clay’s aunt Bernadette and her ex Kyrie have a storied history. They are masters of the repulsive force thanks to a Quinspace being named Lorne, and they are hoping that Ivan and Clay can take their spots with Lorne. But the repulsive force comes with a steep penalty that is already working on Ivan and Clay, and has been working Kyrie for much of his life.

Diode: “Bernadette has been able to see the Quinspace since she first kissed Kyrie when they were teenagers. He had gained the ability after the death of his uncle, who had met Lorne on his deathbed and told Kyrie all about the wonders that he could see. ”

Young is back to his own strange life, which means mutilated corpses. He gets a freebie in this issue, but he doesn’t trust it. Nothing is ever this easy.

Old Man Young : “Detective Young is sitting at his desk at the Knoxville, Tennessee Police Department. He has been nursing a cup of coffee since the morning, it is noon now, and he is still sips at it every now and then even though it is cold. He’d been reviewing files of murders with horribly mutilated corpses from the last five years, combing through them for similarities that might jump out at him.”

Adam and Manuel should be dead. But the super secret organization known as the CZS has been keeping them alive. It’s time to find out why.

Alt-Adam: “Adam knows that things will change very soon for him and his partner Manuel. Either he would force the change or it would be thrust upon them, and neither of them want to face what Dr. Worthington had referred to as a scrambling of their minds. But before they get out, brains scrambled or not, it is worth it to review the reason they have been secretly incarceration since 2017.”
