Universal Family Tree Presents:

It is true that there is only one Par-Cell 77, but this is a conditional statement. It is only true that there is one Par-Cell 77 if you are unaware of, or are purposefully excluding, the idea of the multiverse. If you take the multiverse into account, then theoretically, there are countless versions of Par-Cell 77 that would make that initial statement false. Though it can be argued that even with multiversal duplicates, there is only one true Par-Cell 77, and that the others are distinct in and of themselves despite similarities. If all Par-Cell 77s of the multiverse are the same, then they would share a consciousness, the same memories. This is hard, if not impossible to investigate.

Par-Cell introduced an idea of near perfect parallel symmetry to her Universal Theogony class; it posits that a parallel of existence can be more closely identified with some parallels than others, so much so that events in these parallels seem to happen exactly the same with small variations. So, if the Par-Cell 77 of this story occupies the prime parallel of existence, then the theory is that there are perfect parallels to this prime parallel that are so similar as to be symmetrical, or identical.

I have identified four perfect parallels to this existence. I exist in each of these parallels, and we, I have been able to synthesize information across all five to confirm the evolution of the universe. Through this work, I have formed an idea, I have devised the solution for undoing the harm caused by our presence here in the distant past.

The perfect parallels were identified as such because in each of them there is a race of the Ascendant who exist at the near end of their parallel of existence. They had the same idea to travel back in time with the hope of extending the life of their universe to the disastrous result that we know, and there is a me, a Par-Cell 77 who has been working for many aeons to solve the problem to no avail. And it is only in this aeon that we have found one another and compared notes to realize that all five of our versions of the Ascendant have been enacting the same universal life cycle in our own respective slice of the multiverse. All four version of these Ascendant seem to be the pinnacle of the sentient beings of their existence; they created a planet Top that vacillated through many parallels of existence and when they traveled back in time they were replicated across those parallels.

There is a notable variation among us all. Each Par-Cell 77, and consequently each Ascendant race that they belong to, is a different gender. We Ascendant are female. Another Par-Cell 77 is male from a male Ascendant population, another has the markers of both genders, or is hermaphroditic, another has no gender and reproduces asexually, and the last is capable of changing their gender to any of the others described. This is a curious thing that I have thought extensively about since my discovery of my other selves.

The summer is heating up and the spirits are out for blood in Charleston. Wendy calls in the big guns to learn a thing or two about curse breaking, but only if she can convince a skeptical Anesuishe.

The Curse Breaker (The Brave Chimutengwende Limited Series): “There was a spiritual battle far off that Anesuishe decided to spectate. She flew toward it and landed along the waterfront that was full of tourists. The homes along Rainbow Row shone brightly pastel in the summer sun and Anesuishe wondered why the spirits were causing such a commotion in such a beautiful place.”

Ishe made it back to the physical realm, but he’s not met with the warm reception he hoped for. The first ever PRL Team-Up continues and we are one issue away from the exciting conclusion. Ishe makes an ally of an enemy and there’s a soul dragon, you don’t want to miss this one.

Ishe in the Suck (Isheanesu Team-Up): “When he finally came to a stop, he was surprised that he was not met by his descendant and current Brave, Wendy. Instead, he had arrived in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, at the home of Rhode, who was a student of one of Ishe’s oldest rivals, the witch Miriro.”

Maria seems to have settled into calm, but if history has taught us anything, it’s that the calm never lasts long enough. Maria and Darker are startled by knocks on the door of an invisible house and things get even stranger from there. Yeah, you read that right.

Darker Maria (One Shots):  “It was a quiet night inside the Eakran household; the doctor was working late and neither of the people who lived with him expected to see him until the next day. The storm raged outside and the sound was starting to lull Maria to sleep. Then suddenly there was a knock at the door.”

Speaking of history, it’s repeating itself for Ivan and Clay as they find themselves in a familiar predicament. The two find friends in their troubles and all signs are pointing to Charleston, SC.

Complex Repulsion (Diode Bk. 3): “It happened again; Clay and Ivan separated. In the moment, Clay wanted to rage. He roared louder than he had ever mustered in the past. His aunt Bernadette was pushed back by the force and trees shook. He sounded like thunder issued from human vocal cords and Bernadette looked instinctively up for lightning and found nothing.”

Ok, I mean, I still have a lot of questions, but I think I get it now. Alia is truly amazing.

Alia (Amazing Alia, the Alia Bk. °): “Alia asked that Solse be allowed to accompany her and Nebuchad when they returned for a second recognizance mission, and it wasn’t long before the three piloted a ship back to the planet.”

Remember Riswin Hojar from Issue 1? She’s a hard worker and when she sets her sights on something, she gets it.

Universal Family Tree: “The women of Rhasdwiis are notorious philanderers. They have husbands that they marry and parade around on their arms for social events and to espouse the great Rhasdwiis virtue of family, but most married women have at least one paramour that their husbands accept as an extra hand for domestic affairs.”
