Emma (or The Artist) I. and II.

I. (Forward)

Emma will build you a house of sticks in minutes. Then she will take pictures as you walk around inside, following you closely, gently, and in range of beautiful moments where life is on the verge of emotional shift. Like when Juliet moved to speak, somewhat urgently; I sat smiling my eyes closed. Afterwards, she will give you the house wrapped in a box with a big bow and a card, probably reading, “Thank you for letting me build this house for you, you helped me grow.”

Emma takes pictures to hug the moments she loves best with light and saves them flat in her pocket.

II. (Forward cont. – tables)

Her latest work features tables, hard like beauty queens, with all those chairs and chandeliers like dangling uvulas. Imagine that prostrate in an angled mirror, merely hanging. Then follow it up, and you get to dangle on the hanging climax of Juliet’s urgency, her move to speak. Emma threads life in strips as dotted images. Then she lines it among mirrors to make single moments prominent.
