Time to Read:

3–5 minutes

There is a device that contains details of all time and existence from the start and as it marches forward. This device is a God Machine; its machinations are wondrous to all sentient beings of the universe, or it would be if its existence was widely known. These are the tales from the Aeternus.

One day at a time. That’s the only way to survive it.

A Portrait of the Artist as a Black Man : “In prison, life is so difficult, that Dae wants to believe in something. Something that he can latch on to so that he can push the thoughts of self harm from his mind.”

Wes justified his grandfather’s existence. That sounds bad. He’s channelling his grandfather to answer the question. But he’s not explaining why his grandfather exists, just doing something to honor him and stay on topic… You know what, I’m just gonna let you read it and decide for yourself.

Selections from Wes E.L.’s Dream Journal: “He is up everyday with the sun. At 61, my grandfather is in better shape than I have ever been and it shows as he spends the majority of his days outside in his yard.”

True gods: 2. New gods

from The Origins of Magic

Some things are considered to be out of the realm of possibility, but that is because the realm of possibility for us humans is mostly bounded by our abilities and the limits of our senses. It is hard to conceive of something that is not common to our everyday lives.

That is why science can be a tough pill to swallow, even though it is based on observable evidence. The influence of the present can make the past into a fairy tale; how can you easily grasp the notion that a cosmic belch was responsible for the unfathomable network of stars that create the cosmic scape we enjoy from the ground on a planet that is apparently positioned perfectly to sustain us that is also rocketing around space that is dotted with numerous things that could end this existence as we know it. Science, even with its data and proof, is still a very magical thing.

She’s back! Maria is still in the IBF basement, seemingly complicit in the machinations of Eakran. And then he lends her out to a truly horrible man.

Made in America (Series 2 One-Shots): “Maria Moreno has been a patient at the IBF for about a year. Or, she was sort of a patient in the beginning but her official status has changed. Now Maria is an employee of the IBF, specifically assigned to the basement level to assist Dr. Eakran in the absence of his assistant doctors who mysteriously disappeared. ”

Clay and Desperation are still at it. Desperation is realizing how strong his opponent truly is, but he still has some tricks up his sleeve.

Love as Power (Diode Bk. 1): “The scar on Desperation’s face is not always visible. When it is, it plumps up from the skin of his cheek like new growth pushing out of the boundaries of the original wound. He got the wound from his father, and it definitely required stitches at the time that it happened, but Desperation never received medical treatment for his wound.”

It’s the shocking twist that no one wanted to happen. But we are coming to the end, and the Alia has a destiny all her own.

Amazing Elroy (Amazing Elroy, The Magician Bk. 2): “Kevin is stunned by the news. It’s a hard realization that Alia is not interested in having a family with him and it hurts. He realizes that he had assumed a lot about their interaction, that they both wanted a real future together, but maybe her futures had made that impossible. “

It can be painful to know something that someone else could benefit from knowing, but have no way to tell them. The blogger is saying goodbye, but not closing a window, and hopefully Solse can get back to her.

Romances and Mazes:  “It feels like I went from one crazy, improbable romance to the next (you won’t believe the last guy, I’ll just say that his head is swimming in space) and I can’t stress how little I wanted that stuff in the first place. I didn’t ask for it, but I guess over time, the thought was beautiful enough that I ignored my better nature.”
