Master’s Log, Prime 5 Earth Date June 16, 2124
It has been a long time in this Prime 5 universe, but we can’t return home just yet. If we leave now, we will return to our home Earth just a few months after we left, practically nothing compared to the lifetime we have lived in this new, yet familiar place. Wazad, Zacchaeus, and I have not aged, but we are growing weary; we will not return to our original space the same as when we left it. Seeing the familiar in this new and unfamiliar universe has given me a new perspective on my universe; the Dark Parallel as it is known to those who are aware of the multiverse and map it.
If we leave now, we will be leaving a universe of innocent victims to their gruesome torture and slaughter at the hands of terrifying villains who seek to use them for twisted endeavors. And eventually those villains will find their way to our home universe. If we can’t stop it here, then we won’t stop it there either.
I’m jumping around too much. There is just so much that’s happened. I keep this log because all of this is so extraordinary. Being an outsider of an entire universe is a unique experience and its important to record my experience here, our experiences here.
Wazad, or I should call her Maria, there is another Wazad here and she is happy to be herself now. Maria and Zacchaeus are my family now, my younger siblings, even though we are all over a century old now and mature in ways that I have never experienced in another person because I have not known humans our age.
I should try to impose some structure here. Let me recount some highlights to create a chronology of our time up to now:
- Zacchaeus inadvertently brought Maria and I to the Fonlands, specifically to the Smiting Chamber on Sakpata’s Disc that is located deep inside of an extremely large mountain, larger than the largest mountain on any Earth, but not even the largest of Sakpata’s Disc. The Smiting Chamber is a magical place, a cavern where beings of power are evaluated for inclusion in a trading card game played in the Fonlands. The game was created by the Vodun, the Gods of the Fonlands, but Fonlanders modified it and it is popular on every disc of the Fonlands, and even on some planets in Universe Prime 5.
- Zacchaeus had been to Universe Prime 5 and the Fonlands before. The first time he traveled here, when he escaped our first encounter as he acquired his sublime device (that allows for multiversal travel) from the razew working undercover at COHH Inc., he arrived on the Earth of Universe Prime 5 during the time of slavery, in the 1800’s, when he first met the runaway slave named Coffey and helped her travel to Agê’s Disc in the Fonlands. He returned to our Dark Parallel after only a few hours had passed. When he returned to the Fonlands by accident over a year later, he encountered Coffey who had been in the Fonlands for more than two hundred years; because the Fonlands Universe overlaps Universe Prime 5, their space time is in relative synch and we use the Prime 5 Earth to keep track of time because it is familiar enough. Zacchaeus did not travel to Prime 5 Earth the last time he came to the Fonlands, but it seems that the date on Prime 5 Earth was ten years behind our Dark Parallel Earth, around the year 2004. He went back to our Dark Parallel Earth where Maria was there to greet him, and she notes that he was gone for seconds that she did not even notice. He returned to the Fonlands a few weeks later, shortly after the death of his beloved grandmother and his friend Brad Jordan, whose soul Zacchaeus is still on a journey to find. It was this time that he was lured to the Smiting Chamber by an asanbosam called Sasabo. The Prime 5 Earth Year was 2014.
- Shortly after we were brought to the Fonlands, we met an Fonlander called Goldie, who tried to warn Zacchaeus against cooperating with the Fonlander known as Owuo, who I know from my Earth as the Akan God of Death. I recognized Goldie as an asanbosam, also from Akan legend, but they were both unfamiliar with the Akan and I realized that the Fonlands is made up primarily of beings that resemble the beings of myths, legends, folklore, and religions of the African continent. I was instantly intrigued, but before we could explore anything further, there was a violent explosion in the Smiting Chamber and we were inadvertently transported to a world in Prime 5 known as Bludon.
- Zacchaeus and the Needy engaged in an epic battle with the Superguardian of Bludon, Maxx, who mistook the Needy for his greatest nemesis, an exiled Daemon of the planet Endla, also of Prime 5, known as Minyak….

The Superguardian has been a hero of Bludon for many years, and as his adventures continue, we look back on his humble beginnings. Well, humble isn’t really the right word for Maxx. The word has never truly described him.
Gangland (Âmuk 1st Tel.): “Despite his size, though, Maxx never struggled to keep up with the others during exercise and construction time. Guardians were designed and manufactured on the Fumarole Archipelago and they were trained to strengthen the biological components of their bodies. Part of their training included construction projects all over the planet which amounted to free labor for the Ministers.”

Before he was traipsing across the Multiverse with his arcane friends, Maxx was enjoying his life in Mississippi. He learned many lessons from his beloved grandmother before her death that should help him navigate the coming darkness.
Soliloquy (The Deft Hands of Zacchaeus 1st Tel.): “Zacchaeus was at Mavis Turner’s house and he was digging through the hot tamale pot on her stove top. He was looking for the biggest of them for himself, he had already fished out a smaller one for Jordan who was waiting for him on the porch.”

Universe Prime 5 is unique in all the Multiverse. It contains two beings who wield the powers of Wazad the Wonderful. Maria is stunned to see it.
Best Mistake (Wazad of Outer-Spacetime 1st Tel): “Laying eyes on him disorients Maria. If she had seen this universe’s version of herself, she may have been this discombobulated, but it isn’t the same experience. Seeing the Wazad of this universe wasn’t like looking into a mirror at a reflection that could move independent of her movements.”

The Vodun are back! Xêvioso and Gû enjoy a nice relaxing game of Smiting, and the real Lêgba finally makes an appearance. It seems that a dark scheme is unfolding around the multiverse, but can Lêgba rally any support from his siblings?
euphoria (Finding Lêgba 1st Tel.): “…the fate of Talj is the fate of the Fonlands, even nodes away. If there are beings capable of threatening a universe, then we should be concerned. That iteration is convinced of a bigger threat.”

In the Paradise Universe, Sarah and her godmother, Crone, are on a journey to a mysterious part of their world that is inhabited by mysterious beings who crash landed long ago. Sarah learns the secret history of these mysterious beings and Crone prepares her for the struggles to come.
Multiversal Family Tree : “The Ascendant who crash landed on Earth all those years ago, were running from something. They called it the black mirror, or the dark reflection, but they was scared, and jumped across universes to escape it. The Ascendant aren’t hiding out down there though, they’re planning to fight that dark reflection that is still after them.”

Back in 2019, the Interim Shorts introduced us to the Ascendant, who exist at the relative end and beginning of existence. Due to complex science that is difficult to explain, the Ascendant inadvertently created their inverse who have plans for the multiversal structure that could threaten all existence everywhere.
The Descendant: “If we speed forward billions of years to the far future…there will be one dominant species of sentient beings. They will have both horns and wings and each will be such a deep and rich shade of red that they will sometimes disappear against a dark backdrop.”
