The Ajogun
In the early days of the Fonlands, a member of the Ajogun emerged from each Disc, including the underside of the Lofted Disc. Though the Ajogun were born from each Disc of the Fonlands, they settled primarily on the Disc of Lêgba and wielded Black, Transmogrification, magic that was common among the death dealers of the Fonlands at the time, before Death magic was explored and cultivated.
Many of the Ajogun worked with the Vodun’s underside twins in plots to overthrow them and the Ajogun instigated the Twin Wars that saw the defeat of the underside twins and the Ajogun, though it also released the underside twins from the moniker and binding to the undersides.
The Ajogun were bitter in the wake of the Twin Wars and continued their opposition to the Vodun until the Vodun Jo and Lêgba, as well as Owuo, devised a plan to kill them for good. Instead of killing them, though, the Ajogun were unknowingly transported to the other realms, known as Prime 5, where they occupied the planet of Rycoia.
On Rycoia, the Ajogun are known as such collectively, but their individual names are not uttered or written down because they appear to have mastery of the arcana related to names that allows them to appear anywhere their names are uttered. They developed this magic after their banishment from the Fonlands, and their names are freely used there with no fear of summoning them, though over the long time of their absence from the Fonlands they have been talked about less and less. On Rycoia, the Ajogun cultivated Death magic when they became the gods of Death to the Rycoians and they relished it. They became more powerful in Death magic and before they were bound to the Mysticisms by the eight Mystics Afare, Domari, Getyo, Ilas, Kaer, Praxtl, Rybol, and Valinar, they had attained a power on par with the Vodun. It is presumed that they continue to gain power in their imprisonment.
The Ajogun consists of eight Fonlanders who can merge their forms to become a collective piloted by their leader, Iku. The Ajogun individually did not initially wield as much arcane power as an individual Vodun, but their powers were well attuned to oppose a specific Vodun and they outsmarted the Vodun in the past.

The Ajogun of disease. Emerged from the Disc of Agê and in opposition to Agê.
Egba
The Ajogun of paralysis. Emerged from the Disc of Jo and in opposition to Jo.
Epe
The Ajogun of curses. Emerged from the Disc of Xêvioso and in opposition to Xêvioso.
Ese
The Ajogun of wounds. Emerged from the Disc of Gu and in opposition to Gu.
Ewon
The Ajogun of imprisonment. Emerged from the Disc of Lêgba and in opposition to Lêgba.
Ofo
The Ajogun of loss. Emerged from the Disc of Agbe and in opposition to Agbe.
Oran
The Ajogun of conflict. Emerged from the Disc of Sakpata and in opposition to Sakpata.
