The Outsiders get a new member in the wake of the transformation of Outer Spacetime. And they finally discuss their feelings about Maxx’s incredible power upgrade that he received when he seized the Blight Maker.
Master’s Log 2100 (The Master of Multiversal Arcana 1st Tel): “That’s a good point,” Zacchaeus said. “Me and Pultine tracked Maxx across the Fonlands and he was merkin’ niggas, y’all. The spell he did to get us to Kútmómɛ required that he take the lives of Fonlanders and use their bodies to make these patterns across miles of the Fonlands. It was some elaborate, serial killer shit…”

Jo and Agbe are in the Meta Chamber and they’re having the conversation that many seem to be having. Who is the Vodun of Death?
Divine Power (acɛ 1st Tel):“Owuo is the Vodun of Death,” Jo says firmly, interrupting her sister with a very stern look in her eyes. “We all know this. He was born from the Lofted Disc, he created Deads’ Town and now he has reshaped the underside of Lêgba’s Disc, and the Mother-Father approves.”

Lorv, the prolific explorer of Universe Prime 5, has returned to the Fonlands. She is shrinking, but she still has a lot of life left ahead of her.
Wielders of the Green (The Divine Essence 2nd Tel): “Fonlanders age similar to Earthers in that their physical appearances change as they mature, though Earthers always age linearly, meaning that they will only get older and their appearance will become more haggard over time, but Fonlanders age to a peak of their maturation and then they begin to de-age in a sense, though this deaging is only manifest in the shrinking stage of a Fonlander’s life. Some Fonlanders continue to age as they shrink, but some look exactly as they had always looked only smaller, and not stooping or hunching, just a fraction of their previous size. Shrinking occurs at the rate of growing, which for some Fonlanders is detectable to the Earther eye, though others age at a rate that Earthers can’t comprehend. ”

The Halfyn Heir is strong, but he is still struggling with events of the Talj Rip. Even among powerful peers, the Heir is not afraid to show his emotions, a true measure of his strength.
Smiting Champs:“I know they are fine but after what happened…” the Heir trails off. Alia, Agê, Pultine, and Maxx are also there waiting with Xêvioso for Lêgba who will travel with them to the Paradise universe. Alia looks at the Heir sympathetically, understanding that he had witnessed a great loss that rattled him to his core; if the enemy could damage Talj so much that it died even after they cleared the Pito, then they should all fear for their home existences and the Heir did. “So many were lost, we saved so few that it was insignificant. That entire existence is just gone.”

Ahdis has a difficult confrontation, and then she takes a well deserved break with her fellow mmoatia. Its a real whiplash of emotions.
Multiversal Family Tree: “‘I understand that we are allies for the foreseeable future,’ Ahdis began carefully. She was very angry with Decay, she was well aware of the Death Witch’s actions in the Deep and Ahdis had been forced to rebuild so many communities that Decay and the others of her Coven destroyed on a whim to instill fear in the inhabitants of the Deep. The Witches were only concerned with power and domination, the lives of others meant nothing to them. But in the spirit of cooperation, Ahdis tried to be genial.”

A master of Pattern Magic emerges on the Star, Ntinyeti. But Dendron wields power with a callousness that rivals the Death Witches.
Star Flower (Cotton-Wood 1st Tel.):“Long ago, Dendron graduated from King Protea’s course of lectures when the whale known as Cachalot crashed into the surface of Ntinyeti. It was a large scale catastrophe that may have been averted if not for the cloaking magic of Dendron that allowed Protea to be distracted as the large whale sailed limply through space from the spot of its embarrassing defeat at the hands of a challenger to his dominance of the bachelor pod he swam space with.”
