Directions are formations used to focus arcane energy in a specific direction. Directions are also expulsion formations that deplete the arcane energy inside of the caster.

Constructions
A construction is a complex manifestation of an arcana that involves both hand magic and verbal spell casting. A construction usually requires many formations to complete and fluent knowledge of an arcane language that can be used to invoke magic that are combined with the hand magic to create something much more powerful.
