Invocations are formations used to conjure arcane energy for the purpose of fueling or enhancing formations. Invocations are conjuring formations that increase the amount of arcane energy inside of the caster. Invocations can be extremely risky because they pull available magic that is attractive to the caster into the body of the caster. There are many different types of magic and some can be corrupting or even corrosive to the caster. If a caster uses an invocation haphazardly, they may unintentionally invoke harmful magic. It is very important that if a caster uses an invocation, they have knowledge of a reliable source of magic that they can pull from. If a caster can connect mentally to a source of magic, then they can invoke it.
