ANNUALS

A God of Dreams enters the chat. He was once a man who listened to his teacher, and his ultimate reward for being a good student with a stalwart reputation? God hood.

Smiting Champs: “In the universe that the Smiting Chamber has designated 1121, there was once a man called Leeland. He’d been born to a single mother who died in childbirth, and if he had a father or any siblings, Leeland would never know.”

Lord Cockroach is a primordial being and he joins our heroes despite his nature. He has a very bad track record with humans, but there is one human he could never get the best of.

Smiting Champs: “In the universe that the Smiting Chamber has designated H123, there is a being known as Lord Cockroach who appears as a root curse of Dee Williams, a nurse practitioner in Columbia, South Carolina.”

They’re back. The Pito and the Descendant do not always see eye to eye, but both would rather die than fail their mother. Then, the conflict in Talj reaches its peak.

The Descendant:  ““You are dying and wasting time,” Neubril said. She was sitting and the other Descendant stood behind her in neat rows. They could all be the exact same copy of Neubril, they all look identical even if they are not, the stark white of their fur makes it hard to distinguish between them. Neubril is singular in the crimson red ribbons that adorn her neck and waist.”

Ali wants to save his universe and he toes the line as the forces of good approaches their enemy deep in Talj. Hopefully his training with the Weris Sharp comes in handy.

Amazing Alius and the Masters of the Universe: “Ali vomited as he rolled down the hill, smacking into the skinny tree trunks of the rainforest the entire way down while managing to maintain a steady pace and to hit many trees on his way down. The rocks that occasionally tumbled down after him sometimes rolled over his limbs, testing the strength of Ali’s bones, and sometimes trees toppled and fell on him, but didn’t stop his momentum, the slope of the hill was severe enough that he was hit and continued to roll.”

The Superguardian seems to be back to his regular self, but he’s still wielding the Blight Maker. Wait, doesn’t that thing corrupt?

Âmuk: “’You should have sat this out,’ Zacchaeus says. He is as angry as Shini, Pultine, Tracia and Ahdis seem to be and they are standing in front of him in a half circle, watching him with real concern. Shini and Ahdis hold hands and Maxx is distracted by it, he can’t help but be happy for them even if part of him misses the only love he’d ever known.”

The Vodun, except for Lêgba and Xêvioso, are in the Meta Chamber as the mission to Talj gets underway. But Sakpata and Agê leave to answer a most disturbing distress call.

acɛ: “Talj is suffering and there is nothing there to hear it. Deep inside of it, there are sentient beings who cry out at the rot, the parasitic fungus that spreads on a cosmic scale, but that stops at Talj who is queasy for the first time and the sensation is disorienting.”

Meanwhile, in Outer Spacetime…the Baron La Croix is contemplating death. The Grand Brigette is annoyed that he isn’t taking her concerns very seriously as a War of Arcana seems to be taking shape.

Wazad of Outer-Spacetime: “The Baron was having trouble focusing as the Grand Brigette explained her machinations against the perceived enemies of Arada. La Croix wanted to be contemplating the nature of death for an inhabitant of Outer Spacetime, something that had always fascinated him because beings of Outer Spacetime can practically live forever unless they are killed, and there is only one surefire way to kill a being of Outer Spacetime; cause them to leave Outer Spacetime.”

Long ago, Oduduwa, a Justice of the Disc of Xêvioso, created a very important book to fill a specific need. To date, two new versions of the book have been created in new colors. Possession of any of these books would grant the wielder immense knowledge of the workings of Arcana in the Fonlands.

Cotton-Wood: “The Libraries on the Disc of Legba contain many written works, but only three among them are considered Grimoires, the name given on the European continent to books of spells and magical rites and rituals, materials and lore.”
