Welcome back! We hope that you are enjoying the season. It is unseasonably warm where I am right now, but the leaves are falling and the days are noticeably shorter. Light a candle in honor of someone you love and have lost, then settle in for some entertaining stories about the walking death himself. Enjoy, dear readers. Come back tomorrow for the exciting conclusion.

Tonight:

Wednesday is an important day for the dead, which should mean that it is a day of dread for the living. But for the dead hoping for something meaningful in the afterlife, Wednesday couldn’t be a better day to leave this mortal coil.

Death Magic: “In order to populate Deads Town, Owuo established the Wednesday rule. He used his vast powers to identify the souls of the recently deceased on a day that coincides to Wednesday to beings of Prime 5 and the Fonlands who are aware of the day, and he randomly transported the recently deceased to an artificial space that was only accessible by Owuo on Lêgba’s Disc.”

Lêgba and Owuo have dueled to a draw and Lêgba finds himself in Deads’ Town for the first time. The story of the early days of Owuo’s creation continues now.

Deads’ Town: “Neither of them were dead. Both Lêgba and Owuo had stabbed one another, both viciously enough to demonstrate their anger–Owuo’s in response to Lêgba’s who had questioned his creation of Deads’ Town–but not lethally enough to put the other down.”

Wes learns more about demons, despite the enigmatic woman’s insistence that the group not dwell on the subject for too long.

Dialogues with the Witch: “Wesley, you are like a dog with a bone,” Valeria said. “If the lady says we shouldn’t talk about it, then I think we should let it go. I don’t need any demons terrorizing us, we have enough on our plate already.”
