The end of summer means the beginning of the spooky season, and the Vol. 4 Crossover involves one of the spookiest entities ever created in the Fonlands. The self-proclaimed Vodun of Evil has returned, dear readers, and he’s not very happy with the current state of things. But if the Vodun of Evil isn’t happy, maybe that portends good things for our heroes. And Maria is still in Outer Spacetime, specifically on the Aifyn Line, attaining the skills necessary to traverse a universe.

In this very special issue, we learn the secret history of evil in the Fonlands. Every Vodun has a twin, except for Lêgba. But Legba wasn’t the last child that the Mother-Father produced.
What Else? (Finding Lêgba 1st Tel.): “The Disc of Lêgba is home to many beings who would be nightmarish to Earthers, and though Legba’s Disc is not exclusively the home of horrors, there is no better Disc for encountering horrific things. Owuo is responsible for this.”

Ariel realizes pure evil is the cause of her current situation, and very smart Fonlanders have warned her against uttering its name. But she has to save her sister, even if it seems she is trapped in endless darkness.
Multiversal Family Tree : “I didn’t want anything,” the voice said. “I was just dwelling in a space that has been marked as my own in your realm thanks to your thieving uncle. He uttered my name and took my spoon, he practically begged me to haunt this space.”

Slimed In (Âmuk 1st Tel.): “The Mmoatia ship was large enough to contain the entirety of the Daemon asteroid, and Maxx stood with Pultine in a large, grassy field that now contained the asteroid. It was like a small mountain in the picaresque prairie and crew members of Top swarmed around it.”

As the crossover commences, so too does the Zacchaeus War! Minyak promised a deadly escape from Zacchaeus’s body when the Daemon asteroid landed on the mmoatia ship, and the Needy mounts an effort to stop him before someone gets hurt.
Shame on the Devil (The Deft Hands of Zacchaeus 1st Tel.): “Jit and Minyak could not see eye to eye.”

The Mmoatia and Metratron and the Archangels deal with the Daemon asteroid, and tensions are high between the leaders of both factions, though not for obvious reasons.
B.A.S. (Tracia’s Greatest Hits): “Lorv nodded and looked back at the members of her crew that stood at the ready. A group of them jogged to her position. She gave them orders as a large ship landed in the field. It was shaped like a disc that could accommodate thousands and Lorv’s crew went to work loading the still sleeping Daemon onto the ship as Metatron and Tracia oversaw everything.”

Maria is on the planet Aifyn to learn to tame the cosmic wynds. She and the Goddess Garoa have the Ice Prince as their guide, and he is eager to get to work, if only to avoid personal affairs as the son of Aifyn’s Kings.
Brokey (Wazad of Outer-Spacetime 1st Tel): “Maria was glad that Garoa was with her and she hovered next to the table, not eating. Garoa didn’t need sustenance as a Therosi god, but Maria had learned that she could enjoy food if she wanted to. Garoa was not a fan of the food of Aifyn; Fyns enjoyed many things raw, including many of the insects that existed in the desert, and Garoa had a distaste for exoskeletons.”
