Master’s Log, Prime 5 Earth Date July 18, 2124

I’m glad that Zacchaeus has made a friend of Maxx. The two of them have more in common than I realized was possible. Aesthetically, Bludon is paradise. It is islands, beaches, amazing seafood, but there are also huge prosperous cities and smaller depressed ones, and the Bludonians experience the same ills of advanced societies that plague humanity. There are extreme disparities in the wealth of Bludonians, and there is a thriving criminal underground that is especially familiar to Zacchaeus, and he is a natural at Smiting. Very soon after we dealt with the dark swarm and the young Omega, and Maria disappeared into Outer Spacetime, Zacchaeus quickly made a name for himself as a natural Smiting player, and he is still undefeated in Smites, the variant of Smiting created on Bludon. He spent most of his time with Maxx on Bludon battling the Daemon who reappeared after we dealt with the young Omega of Prime 5. We were sure of some connection between the appearance of the Omega and the Daemon, but Zacchaeus was becoming an outlaw hero of Bludon because of Maxx’s tensions with the Ministers of the planet. There were Ministers of Bludon who wanted Maxx to die for freeing the Guardians, but his connections with the gangs of Bludon protected him and he went underground, secretly protecting the planet with a specialized task force that included Zacchaeus.

I was also frantically searching for Maria, we were all too distracted to investigate a possible connection between the black swarm and the young Omega. Until it smashed us hard in the face.

Sao-Reyne, the Wazad of this universe, eventually assured me that worrying about Maria was a waste of energy. I tried many times to portal into Outer Spacetime, but I was not permitted to enter. I could send things there, but it seemed that there was something on the other side deciding if the things would be permitted; I believe that this thing easily dispatched the young Omega when it crossed into Outer Spacetime. When I tried to cross over, I felt something resisting my entry, though nothing strong enough to deny the powers at my disposal. I have been unable to cross into Outer Spacetime because of my powers. They keep me from crossing over and I am sure that the Arcane energies wanted me on Bludon. We were in Prime 5 for a long time before I even traveled to the Fonlands, but the highlight of my stay here has been meeting the Mmoatia. They called themselves Supremes when they were agents of the Vodun Agê who deployed them to Prime 5 to keep tabs on the Vodun Legba, but they were ending their tenure as servants of the Vodun when I met them. They were old, but that was not obvious from their appearance, and they were all in a stage of their lives when they wanted to relax and enjoy existence. The first of them to arrive on Bludon was Tracia, who had heard all about our arrival and the manipulations of Owuo…

Node 5 Prime 5 Earth Year 2024

Coxx has stepped into Maxx’s social role on Bludon, while Maxx goes undercover with his stealth team of Trooper Guardians, as the Queen Rowen calls them, to battle the re-emergent Daemon. While Coxx dresses up to rub shoulders with the social elite of Two Rivers, Maxx comes face to face with his greatest nemesis.

Like That (Âmuk 1st Tel.): “The Ortue will take this opportunity to show that they can challenge what we’ve built with Beku and the Ur Gang. They want control of Two Rivers and it starts by showing the Guardians weak without our fearless leader.”

Zacchaeus and Issac have been on Bludon for ten years, and Zacchaeus feels like he has found a new home. Of course the Deft Hands are skilled at Smiting, but he spends most of his time backing up the Superguardian and his stealth team. And Zacchaeus finally meets Minyak.

Black&Blue (The Deft Hands of Zacchaeus 1st Tel.): “’I’m telling you,’ Zacchaeus said to Issac, ‘we died and somehow we ended up in my version of heaven.’ They walked the busy streets of Two Rivers. It was very similar to large cities from the Earth the two had left, but in addition to impressive buildings of metal and glass that rose high up into the sky and reflected the sunlight, there were also buildings made of bamboo that gave the city a tropical flavor.”

Outer Spacetime is full of wonders and curiosities. Among the most notable inhabitants of O-space are the Therosi, power beings who are almost as old as O-space itself. The First Wazad lives among them and Maria has been with them, learning the ways of Wazad the Transverse. Apparently, she has an important purpose, but Maria is itching for action.

Got the Juice (Wazad of Outer-Spacetime 1st Tel): “Therosi castle is an impossibly large step pyramid that does not revolve a sun like some planets and other celestial bodies of Outer Spacetime, though, due to the exotic laws of psychics that exist in Outer Spacetime, most celestial bodies move through O-space in patterns that would be strange to astronomers of lower spacetime. Therosi castle is a fixture of Outer Spacetime and it has never moved in all of its existence.”

Tracia in the present day is not the regal leader that we once knew. She is still Tracia, and commands respect with her presence, but things have changed, and she is trying to solve a mystery that she first discovered long ago when she looked into her calabash.

B.A.S. (Tracia’s Greatest Hits): “‘After everything, you’re here asking me about Azizas?’ Lolof said when he stopped pacing and crossed his arms over his chest. ‘Do you care for me, Tracia? Or was I just cover to throw Agê off the scent of your romance with the iteration?’”

Xêvioso and Gu are at it again, trying to finish their game of Smiting. But a very unexpected visitor arrives and their duel turns into a fourway battle, with an ominous deck in play.

Not Like Us (Finding Lêgba 1st Tel.): “‘You have been avoiding this roll for too long, brother,’ Xêvioso says, ‘you have no other moves. Anyanwu is aiming for the Ninki Nanka, you have no distractions to prevent it, it is time to roll for battle.’”

Sarah and Crone live among the Ascendant as plans are made. Sarah isn’t yet privy to those plans, but she is trying to enjoy the very unique experience of living among the Ascendant. She even makes a friend.

Multiversal Family Tree : “Sarah is in a park with Par-Cell 77 one afternoon Crone is busy in the Top building with Neu-Brosme 77 and the mysterious Ogi, who Sarah had yet to meet, though she’d heard her voice once she and Crone were leaving Neu-Brosme’s office in the Top building.”
