Hello, hello, and welcome back to the 2022 Interim Shorts! We have survived the Dead of Winter and we are getting closer and closer to the debut of Volume 2. I’m excited, so much so that my Interim Short for March is actually a lead-in to a Volume 2 story that will blow your socks off. Remember The Black Dream Cycle from Volume 1? Well the craziness continues as the Idiot God, Azalaan, meets a woman named Marlo Charles who has seen the Heart of Blackness, spoken with it, and been slightly underwhelmed by the realization of its mysteries. Which is to be expected, things are hardly ever what they seem and even upon this realization, we have to maintain the lie until the story arrives at the point of realization. But what if Marlo’s understanding is wrong and all of her assumptions are based on a lie?
It’s about to get very strange, dear readers. Come back this Thursday for the 4 part story, Heart of Blackness, that will take us to the most sacred day of the week, Sunday, to meet the most interesting man that few people have ever laid eyes on.
