Computer – Wes E. L.’s Relationships and Men

In front of a computer, the boy is anything he wants to be. He will pose himself just right to attract attention. His house is empty. He is 15, his birthday was a month ago and his parents bought him an IPod Touch, which he had been asking for for years. They’d resisted buying the device because they didn’t think he was old enough for technology so savvy. And he had a laptop; the IPod was almost redundant. But they caved because his father could not figure out anything else to get the boy.

“He spends a lot of time in his room. He likes his computer.”

And that is really all the man knows about his son. That the boy can spend an entire afternoon in front of his computer.

The boy is confident enough to chat with strangers and trade pictures of himself. He started off innocently enough; he would meet a girl in a chat room after school while sipping a soda and playing music in headphones as he cruised the internet, and he would have to see the girl he was talking with. First he traded a picture, him smiling, non-threatening, not hot but definitely cute. In her picture, she was in a pose that lead him to believe that she had cropped someone out of the picture, but she was smiling and very easy on the eyes.

Escalation is inevitable, next thing he knows he is exposing himself; if she shows you a boob, you snap a shot of the tip and she is impressed. Before long they are not women anymore and he knows it, he accepts it and doesn’t mind trading pics of his tip for random boobs, random parts shoved into parts. His hard drive is a pornographic archive of random breasts, random thighs, random penises, vaginas.

The boy is man enough to place first in an online contest that rewards the biggest penis.

Escalation is hard to fight, “He likes his computer.”

The house is empty and the boy is on edge at each sound. His parents left him alone tonight, they are out celebrating their marriage, and he is in his underwear in front of his computer. His body is taunt, his muscles flex and he is sweating. He removed the glass bowl from the light at the center of his ceiling. He has a lamp next to the computer. On the screen, his body from the neck down, his penis erect.
