Leeland and the Earth Gods (name of my band when I start one) are getting along well, but they haven’t had any good news for him. They can’t help him escape the Dreamlands, but will they defend him against Nyarlathotep and the mysterious Azathoth?
The Black Dream Cycle: “‘You’re not so handsome when you skulk,’ Danu said. She had sat next to Ala and they could have been children playing with a miniature figurine from the right vantage point. I was the miniature and I had never felt so small.”

Milongo is such an awesome name, and he’s an R&B singer. Milongo learns about intimacy from the last person he’d expect; his bodyguard.
Wes E. L.’s Relationships and Men: “A while ago, around 2010, Milongo reached a level of fame that he had only dreamt of in his youth, the fame he had learned to covet because of the things he consumed on the internet and on tv. Milongo is an excellent drummer; with sticks, with his bare hands and on any surface, and he has the voice of an angel.”

Jarrold and Sarabi are finding a way to communicate and hopefully she can tell him what is happening. But she’s more interested in dinner than solving mysteries.
Test Reality: “The day went on as normal as it could for someone who had just experienced what Jarrold had. He had moved Sarabi around to the open backyard and the note she had been guarding flew away on the wind before he could inspect it closely.”

We need other people, no matter how independent or introverted we are. Everyone needs someone.
Life in Marvelous Times (2010): “Those around you are integral to your being. and, in light of this reality, this glaring realization that there are so many people about and they are not mere background in your everyday, lending their character to your life for the pay off of the relief they allow, others are like batteries if you use them correctly:”

The Shuffle is back and Max takes us to Rock Hill, SC for another story steeped in history.
Shuffle: “There is a building being constructed in the city of Rock Hill, South Carolina, home of Winthrop University. The site of construction is at the corner of Cherry Rd and Oakland Ave, where the Archives and Special Collections building still stands; it seems that contractors hope to extend the building for commercial business and it’s not clear if the Archives building will remain.”

Gabby had a dream and here it is! The black figure is sending a message, that much is clear enough by now.
Welsh Rarebit: “I was born in Ladoga, but my parents are originally from the Dominican Republic. It never ceases to amaze me that they ended up there, that my birth certificate is so much different than theirs. I couldn’t even imagine what it would be like to go there before I went when I was fifteen.”
