Leeland comes face to face with an ancient evil. Get ready to meet the dark man of Lovecraft’s nightmares. Ladies and gentleman, it’s Nyarlathotep!
The Black Dream Cycle: “When I entered the black doorway in the smooth cave wall, I was truly startled by the inside. I’d expected something cavernous and dank like the rest of the cave that I’d encountered since I arrived on the moon. But the inside of the cave was the interior of a barbershop.”

It’s the last tribute in verse to electricity as we come to the end of the sonnets. It’s easy to take it for granted in our age, but we should take time to appreciate it, to humble ourselves to it’s true power.
Electricity Sonnets: “Be humbled by electricity’s might…”

On the next track, Max takes us to a harsh working environment. Business can be cutthroat, and at this company, the cost of failure is very high.
Shuffle: “The company where Shantay worked manufactured brake pads and most of the employees in the building, where she was the first floor receptionist, were white collar workers who made decisions about the quantity of brake pads to manufacture, and also distribution of the product around the world to wholesalers.”

Rodney gets some good news amid the pandemic. But he doesn’t get to enjoy it for long before he finally sees the Living Dead and his dread is compounded.
They Live: “Rodney Coffey spoke with his daughter at least once a week after their first initial call and usually, he was disappointed that there was no news about when she’d be able to return home from Europe. He was always anxious before answering her calls and he would say a short prayer that she hadn’t become infected since the last time they’d spoken to one another.”

Wes finally makes it to the resolution. He and Valeria finally sit down and make a decision about their future.
Selections from Wes E.L.’s Dream Journal: “A month had passed since she mentioned that her father asked her about having children, and over that time, I’d been really contemplating what I want for myself and my family.”

Noah and Sabrina had dreams after eating the rarebit, and a mystery emerges. Is there something supernatural moving through the dreams of the V.I.V. editors?
Welsh Rarebit: “I’ve been waiting to tell y’all about it,” [Noah] said, “but I didn’t want to be too eager…It’s funny, I woke up in the middle of night and when I went back to sleep, I don’t remember dreaming again. But Sabrina said she was up, ate the Rarebit, and had a dream after that. It’s like the dream spreads.”
