When Silas wakes up the day after Tyler returns to himself, he knows that the world is different. He knows that Illuminatos is gone.

A small piece of his soul had been with the Alia as she flew it back to its dark pit in Hell. He knows that the Nights of Illuminatos are finally over.

But there are changes to his present that Silas cannot ever know. These changes were precipitated by an event that impacted the entirety of the universe, an event referred to as the Hyperion.

When Silas wakes, he rushes to the mirror and his eyes are not black with red in the middle. He wakes up his wife and his daughter, they sleep together in a locked room on the second floor, and his wife cries when she sees his eyes.

“Is it over?” she asks and grabs his face.

“It’s over.”

They go outside and find neighbors celebrating the feeling of a world restored. They all hug. They all love one another. The new world is beautiful.

Silas and his family open the doors of their home for a party and it is well attended by those who have survived the past couple of years. There is no food, no music, just a house full of people happy to smile again.

The party lasts most of the day and into the night. Silas and his wife go to bed together and he holds her, grateful for the life that he has.

When he dozes off, Silas opens his eyes in Hell.

“What!” he yells, looking around himself confused.

And then he sees the Alia and she has the head of Azazel in her hand.

“I’m glad you could join me Silas. We have a lot of work to do.”
