We matter because we dare to be despite the reality.

This is the time of HYPERION.

The PRL Serials have been brought to you by HYPERION. Hyperion! You think you know, but you only know part of the story.

Alia’s Quest, that started on the day of her birth, has finally come to an end. Alia comes face to face with a god-like being and she is surprised at the encounter. And then she gets a gift that she never expected. When her body returns to reality, she is in a new world, even if things continue on as before.

The Hyperion (Amazing Alia, the Alia Bk. ^): “They stand in a very dark space that is like the space she and Kazi Fandral had arrived to, in front of the black hole where SoEl was floating with the Aeternus Machina at his chest, but now, the surroundings are dark like they are surrounded in a black cloth that darkens the view to varying degrees where it overlaps. The darkness is not intimidating, it is comforting and Alia feels that she has been transported somehow, though she has not moved very far.”

“Even the dead can die.” Of course, but it’s not something that I’d ever wondered before. If the spirit is composed of energies, it would eventually be recycled into something else. Nothing lasts forever. We say goodbye to a beloved ancestor in this new, but familiar time of Hyperion.

When the Dead Die (The Brave Chimutengwende Bk. 2): “A medium is like a conduit of energies,” he explains with Falon’s mouth as she sits in the control room of her mind watching the interaction through her eyes on a large screen and listening to the conversation that is mostly an educational lecture. “They see ghosts because they are natural conduits of spirit energies specifically, and with concentration, using incantations, they can become a conduit for all kinds of forces…”

The war was won. Now, in the aftermath during the time of Hyperion, Maria has some choices to make. It’s the same Maria who fought next to the Kings against Pen Nuren and the Earth monsters, but in the new time, her past was extremely different.

Further Ascension (Darker Maria Bk. 1): “The entire conflict has taught her something; spending time with the Earthlings has made her eager to return to her home planet. Growing up on Druont wasn’t nearly as difficult as one might imagine, she was young when she left Earth, and though she missed her mother at first, the feelings eventually faded thanks to time and the chemicals that her adoptive father used on her to ease the transition to life on an alien planet; these chemicals were responsible for her mind-control abilities.”

It’s the end, but it feels very much like a new beginning for Paul in this new present that is the result of a slightly different past. He and Sandra have plans for the future and they will have help as Paul works to become a private investigator.

Old Man Young and the Con Man’s Daughter: “At the home of former Detective Paul Young in Knoxville, Tennessee, Sandra is sitting out front on the porch watching the neighborhood move by. She likes Paul’s house, and after all these years, it feels like her home.”

Some things are hard to get rid of. Some evil is persistent. It regenerates from the spot of its destruction to terrorize again. This new time is not immune to evil.

Made in America (Series 2):  “The campus of the Consortium Zone: South in Durham, North Carolina has been completely reconstructed, and work continues at the facility under the direction of the ghost of Dr. Roy Worthington.”

Learn more about the new past that made Maria as we spend some time with the Druinte Social Society. Daecoo has followed the Fhetat War very closely since it started and news of its premature completion have brought him peace of mind.

Universal Family Tree: “A little over twenty years RET ago, a ship left the planet Druont and traveled to the planet Earth using a wormhole that is located near each planet. This ship departed Druont from the city known as Changuzi; they had recently discovered the wormhole and decided to explore it because it was a secret of the MDDS, the government of the largest city of Druont known as Triusia. Among the crew that traveled to Earth was a durine called Daecoo.”
