Alia is on the Rainbow Road, and of course it is a metaphysical experience, but it seems that the half of her soul that went through the shining gate on the Dreamscape has found itself in a truly dark and frightening place. Will she and Darker survive the experience?
The Hyperion (Amazing Alia, the Alia Bk. ^): “Alia stands in a vast darkness and Darker is next to her. They are wearing skintight, white suits up to their necks and they can see one another but nothing else. This is the condition that they exist in for an unknown amount of time; maybe they had just passed through the shining gate, or maybe they had come to this darkness ages ago and been slowly gaining their bearing.”

The Ghost Force, get it? The Ghostbusters from the Volume IV Resurrection Event, namely Wendy, and the Police Force from the Volume III CZS event come together to make the Ghost Force! It would have been cooler if we put it together a couple issues ago, but better late than never.
When the Dead Die (The Brave Chimutengwende Bk. 2): “Aile watches the woman and three men follow Wendy and Stephanie inside and she can tell from their faces that they had a hard time at the CZS. She smiles at Stephanie and hugs Wendy as everyone sits in the chairs of the living room.”

Maria’s group of friends have split up again as she heads to the Fhetat, ready to face the fearsome Kings of what some call the most brutal place in the universe. Maria isn’t intimated. She has mind control powers, and awesome friends with powers of their own.
Further Ascension (Darker Maria Bk. 1): “She enjoys getting to know Kal better and the Queen Ravileth is always a welcome friend to have in any scenario. They hope to be at the Fhetat in five cycles, and if things go as they hoped, reinforcements from the Regions could arrive at least five cycles before the expected arrival of the IP Security Forces. But things going as they hoped were contingent on them sitting with the Kings of the Fhetat and convincing them to accept the help that they offered, which they all thought was improbable, if not impossible. “

For beings of incredible age and knowledge of the workings of the universe, the Quinspace beings can seem a bit, I don’t know how to put this respectfully, out of the loop. Anansi has been suspicious of the Ascendant in the Quinspace for a while now and their secretive work on stiff world Earth prompted him to do some investigating. Remember Coyotl from the Annual issue? He’s back too and the two are trying to understand Alia’s strange movements across the mental realm, but they are very easily distracted.
Tales from the Quinspace Series 4: “Coyotl and Anansi are fighting in the mental realm. They had been there watching the human woman zip across the seemingly infinite space of the realm, and when she was halfway done, they understood what she was doing.”

Frial is a unique Hafjeris male. When he was on his villainous adventures as Agent Red, he often changed the color of his wings to avoid sticking out. But prisoners aren’t usually allowed the time to attend to their physical appearance. Yiel could care less about the natural color of his wings. He only wants one thing, a meeting with Whadgaf Jiris.
Agent Red: The Captive (Limited Series): “Frial’s red wings are very conspicuous. It is presumed that he is the last Hafjeris alive to be born with naturally occurring red feathers, and while he is a prisoner of Yiel at the Dharle Family stronghold in the Banned Regions, his captors comment on it often.”

We follow the branches of the family tree back to the Women of Rhasdwiis, where Riswin copes with the fallout of Representative Nuren’s prisoners breaking out of the IP headquarters.
Universal Family Tree: “But Riswin does not like Representative Nuren’s temper. She hasn’t ever really seen the Representative as mad as she has been lately, since her prisoners were broken out of their secure rooms. The Representative was cruel to the guards who were in charge of the prisoners. She called them to her office where Riswin stood behind her chair, observing the ways of effective leaders, and the Representative yelled at them, and threw things from her seat. And then she crawled over the desk, still yelling, and when she was in their faces, she hit them repeatedly. ”
