When the heavens were nothing, they were discontented. So they collected their sentience, their awareness of the emptiness, into a singularity, and a new being was born. The Center is all knowing because it has awareness of everything that came before it, and as the parent of everything in the universe, everything that has existed since its inception.
The weight of the Center’s new mind was enough to attract things to it, and eventually, everything that was, the sentient nothings of the barren heavens, became the Center in the singularity and it exhausted space so much with its weight that it burst through the space that held it to create this universe that the Ointites occupy.
This happened long ago relative to the formation of the planet Oin and the greater IO system to which it belongs. The Ointites know that they are blessed to have discovered their creator, who is content to preside over the universe in anonymity. They know that without the birth through the Center, the physical laws that led to their creation on their planet would be impossible and they are eager to spread word of their creator to anyone who will listen.
The Ointite civilization is very respectful of all life in the universe and they consider themselves to be grateful servants of the Center and all of its creations.
