Universal Family Tree Presents:
70
It is my dream for all of life as we know it to cease to exist, and for all of us to wake up in our beds in a life that is better able to sustain us, rather than all of us risking our lives to sustain our environment. I don’t mean to gripe or complain, a life lived in service to the maintenance of a sustainable environment is a noble life, but imagine the sustenance achieved. Imagine the privilege of living in that world.
Nothing is broken. That was the mistake of the 77, to try and fix a system that was not in need of repair, and as a result we have become enmeshed as the very thing we saw as the problem, we became the cause of the rapid expansion. Even still, nothing is broken. Everything is working as it does.
We know that the beings of this colorful space we inhabit are not our true enemies, and they can be our greatest allies as we do what needs to be done. The Ascendant should not be at the start of the universe. And one day in the future, a woman of a planet that will be known as Earth will ensure that we will not be ever again. She is our mother and she will show us the folly of our ways.

The enemy is defeated, but Clay and Ivan are not the same men who entered the conflict. Ivan seems to be appreciative to have his gifts returned, and Clay’s rage seems to be boiling over.
Complex Repulsion (Diode Bk. 3): “It should be mentioned that while Ivan was practicing his ability to track energy signatures, Clay was also testing his abilities, notably, the mental connection that he shared with Ivan. He was curious if it happened spontaneously or if they both needed to engage the skill for it to work.”

Alia is lost to the world she knows and she finds herself in the familiar time before time. The face on the screen is a big help to sort it all out, but it’s a hectic time to go and lose your place in the present. Cousins is dead and Darker was shot!
Alia (Amazing Alia, the Alia Bk. °): “Eakran monitors Alia’s vitals. She had passed out when he’d told her about his alien origins and he’s been making sure she’s alive ever since. It’s been about a day and Eakran worries. It seems that she is asleep, but a part of her brain is active and it makes him think that something else may be going on.”

The Quinspace is ubiquitous. Beings of the Quinspace exist all across the universe and their interaction with beings of A-space can be magical.
Tales from the Quinspace Series 3: “The Kazi of the planet Eel are identified as such because of their ability to wield magic. All Kazi have an ancestral link to the Tetah District, and they are one of many ethnic groups on the planet Eel. The planet has many habitable continents and the Eeling, a dominant species of sentient beings, live on all of them in many districts that are elaborate cities carved into the great Red Mountains that spread the planet.”

Strange Encounters (PRL 2 in 1): “After everything that happened. I was ready to give it up. I was glad to have the excuse. I wasn’t all that impressed with him, but people around here knew his name and they remembered stories about him.”
