Universal Family Tree Presents:
7⁰
…This is a class about the theoretical. In order to teach the course, though, we must speak of the intangible, of unknowables, as though they are real things with thoughts and emotions that we could recognize and express. This entire class is a thought experiment, it is how we explain our place and our purpose. Sure, I have tried to incorporate the science we accept into the theories we will be discussing, but even with all of our knowledge of the universe and its workings, we are only guessing at the ideas that are the foundation of this course.
We all know that existence is made up of two abstracts, and we can think of them as the parents of everything; Time and Space. From there, we know that everything that exists owes that existence to the interaction of Time and Space.
We will speak more about what came as a result of Time and Space at our next meeting…
Par-Cell left the grounds of the Aeternus Gymnasium of Academia after her introduction to the new class of theoretical engineers who would keep the Ascendant prosperous and inventive into their future as they occupied the Quinspace. She took her pod to the sprawling field where her room was located and she stood in the gentle breeze that moved the hip-high grass stalks. When the grass moved it sent up a pollen that danced like glitter in the light of the Quinspace. Par-Cell didn’t mind being covered in the pollen, it fell away easily with a slight brush, and she moved her arm instinctively back and forth to stir the grasses and create a sparkling cloud that surrounded her.
Par-Cell was wistful. She was worried but she was smart enough to know that worry would not help anything, and she was angry at the reality of time that she was very much the subject of. She was sure that she had solved the great paradox of the Ascendant, though only time would tell. She had lived her life in the distant future, jumped back to the early universe with her Ascendant sisters, and then she realized her mission; the truth of the cyclical nature of all reality, and the repeated error of the Ascendant to try and meddle with universal forces that caused them to be the source of universal malady from their perspective. She realized that she had lived her life–everything had existed as it does–an unknown amount of times before and she had tried to erase the error of the Ascendant with the help of her sisters and through her own efforts, all of which proved futile. As she stood stirring up pollen in the field alone, she knew that she had righted the wrong of the Ascendant and at some point in the future of this universal lifecycle, she, along with the Ascendant as she knew them, would cease to exist. The Ascendant would no longer be the cause of the rapid expansion of the universe.
She was being hasty. She had not actually done it then as she stood in the field, but she knew exactly what needed to be done. Which is why the Ascendant stayed in the Quinspace; she convinced her sisters that it was their only hope as she had done in previous universal life cycles. And it is the reason she started the course, which was called Universal Theogony, of hand-selected students. She knew that she had never taught a class like it before, it was completely unique to her experience in previous universal lifecycles and within every iteration of the universe that the Ascendant inhabited. She had worked very hard to make sure of this and it was the start of her ultimate solution.

Curses are ubiquitous. So much so that they are hardly worth noting. The Brave Chimutengewende is back and she is in Charleston, SC where she will be called on to develop new skills. She has the ancestors to help her, and though there is a notable omission, Wendy doesn’t seem to notice. Anesuishe and Great uncle provide back up as Wendy breaks curses, saves lives, and encounters the history of one of America’s oldest cities.
The Curse Breaker (The Brave Chimutengwende Limited Series): “At work, Wendy was given a special assignment and she temporarily relocated to Charleston, South Carolina where she studied alongside the Brain Stimulation Service Team at the Medical University of South Carolina. The progress of Dr. Hansberry’s patients at the IBF had stalled and she hoped that electrical stimulation might encourage the restoration of brain function. ”

He lost his body centuries ago, and then the realms of matter were hit by a hurricane. Isheanesu seems to have been lost forever, and his descendant, the Brave Chimutengwende, doesn’t seem to notice. He has had a long existence that prepared him for this moment of existential chaos and he will need all of his wisdom to make it back to the people who need him. And when things seem impossible, he will find help to navigate the unknown. Ishe teams up with PRL favorites as we learn the consequences of Darker’s Resurrection across the various realms of the PRL universe.
Ishe in the Suck (Isheanesu Team-Up): “Isheanesu was the nephew of the last emperor of the Changamire Dynasty of Zimbabwe of the mid to late 1800s. His neck was broken to keep him from notifying his family of the coming coup, and his death was so traumatic and violent that his soul wept over the carnage even after the disposal of his body.”

Maria has a new best friend. His name is Darker and he has gotten a second chance at life. America’s favorite duo reunite as their adventures continue alongside the infamous Dr. Thomas Eakran. Maria is still the dutiful assistant despite the craziness she and Darker encountered at the end of the last Volume. She still enjoys sitting in parks, even if she has the ability to control anything she sets her mind on.
Darker Maria (One Shots): “Maria sits in a park looking at people passing by. It is hot for early summer, it will only get hotter as the summer stretches on. There are children playing in a field, just beyond the walkway in front of the bench that Maria sits. They laugh, they have water pistols. Put ’em up! they yell at one another, never giving enough time for surrender.”

It’s the beginning of the end. Diode, which chronicles the strange adventures of Ivan and Clay, comes to an end with Book 3, and we find the couple in the middle of a crisis unlike anything they have faced before. The enemy is familiar; Desperation is alway trying to get close; but this time, Ivan and Clay face the duo behind much of the misfortune they have faced in their lives. The Quinspace beings Koyu and Anes make their move and our dynamic duo will need back up. Luckily they are in Bluffton, SC with Clay’s aunt Bernadette, who is very adept with the repulsive force.
Complex Repulsion (Diode Bk. 3): “Clay was not happy after his last confrontation with Desperation. He was in a lot of pain and his face took a while to heal into a shape that his loved ones recognized. Clay’s jaw had been broken and the jagged bone had bruised the muscle tissue, causing the right side of his face to swell. The bruising of his face had changed the color of his skin to a dark blue-black, and the normally smooth planes of his face were now interrupted on one side with traumatic hills and valleys.”

Wait a minute. The last time we saw Alia, she was living alone at Clay’s house. Why is she in a spaceship this issue? Whose spaceship is it? Since when can Alia fly a spaceship? What is going on? And what Book number is it? What does that symbol even mean?!
Alia (Amazing Alia, the Alia Bk. °): “Alia relaxed in her captain’s chair and concentrated on the huge, wall-sized monitor that broadcasted the view in front of the ship like a window. She had charted the ship to unknown territory using the navigation schematics created by the Interstellar Panel, but as the ship passed into uncharted territory, the holographic maps became useless.”

Come with us, dear reader, deep into the cosmos to discover the mysteries of the sentient civilizations of the universe. This new anthology series presents a new issue of a PRL cosmos serial every week, featuring classics like Agent Red and Druinte Social Society, and some new serials set on worlds you will be excited to discover. First up, we head to the planet Wiis, home to the Rhasdwiis.
Universal Family Tree: “Life in Broman was not so technologically advanced, though Riswin and others her age from her poor neighborhood would find junk technology and refashion it into souvenirs for the tourist Rhasdwiis of fancier cities who used the mountains as their vacations and gave small amounts of money to the mountain children for their robots that combed hair or trimmed toenails. When she first arrived in the capital of Rhasdwiis civilization, Faswad, Riswin was wide-eyed at the busy city center that she had never witnessed first-hand.”
