We are less than a month away from the Vol. V debut and we couldn’t be more excited. The PRL contributors are working hard to bring you the continuation of the best serial fiction on the internet. While we wait for June 16, I wanted to give some pointed reading suggestions to hold you over and to catch you up. The PRL Serials have been going strong since 2014, and there’s a lot of ground to cover if you want to be all caught up; or you can focus on the following stories that provide a perfect introduction to the various storylines that will continue in the next Volume:
Alia and the Ascendant
The True Start of Everything: full run (Interim Shorts)

Of course you should review the previous volume, IV: Resurrection. Not only is it entertaining, but it has the first book of the Brave Chimutengwende, who will return for a limited series. The first book also serves as an introduction to the first ever PRL Team-Up, Ishe in the Suck.
In preparation for Vol. V, we’ve been reading a lot about theoretical physics, specifically the theory of Conformal Cyclic Cosmology that has been advanced by physicists Roger Penrose and Vahe Gurzadyan. This theory cannot be called “proof” of the events of that transpire in the Serials. Neither Gurzadyan nor Penrose make claims based on their expertise that suggest that anything presented in the Serials is physically possible. The science presented in the Serials is a science of another world, of another parallel of existence that may feel very familiar, but is not of the world that you inhabit, dear reader. We read advanced physics to familiarize ourselves with ideas and theories that help us to comprehend and translate the complex works of amazing things into the Serials that you, hopefully, find entertaining.
We can’t wait to see you again soon. It’s going to be a very good summer for internet serial fiction.
