The exploits of AEther continued on as before. To that point in its existence, it had created the conditions that would lead to life at only a few wounds in Space, but already, planets were forming, and sentience would not be far behind.

Though it was alarmed at the sight it had witnessed – it’s twin, the Quintessence disappearing into a wound of space and then followed by a mysterious craft piloted by mysterious beings – AEther realized that it had a mission that it would continue.

AEther concentrated and pulled magic from the wound that the Quintessence had disappeared through, and a swirl of cosmic dust issued from it. When AEther knew that it had done enough, that eventually the dust would spark and create a star to sustain a system of planets and other materials around it that could give birth to sentient life, AEther stopped it concentration and the edges of the wound seemed to stop their spread. And then AEther sped off, unaware that soon the Quintessence would return with a message of urgency and that would necessitate a cosmic family reunion.
