The True Start of Everything (9) – Theogony start

At the start, there was only Time and Space. It stands to reason that time existed inside of space, space gave time a place to rule, and time gave space a means by which to organize itself.

Is there any reason formed by the sentient beings of the universe that can hope to characterize the astounding creators of all existence? The creators who exist in every iteration of reality, in every spectra of matter in existence as foundational aspects whose influence ebbs and flows depending on the locale.

Time and Space are at the start of the genealogy of existence and they had many children. Among their children is AEther; the creator of sentience; and Past, Present and Future; the three children of Time. All of the children of Time and Space exist in accordance to the realms and parallels of existence in which they find themselves, they are not ubiquitous like their parents, meaning that there are countless versions of some of them across the countless parallels of reality and their correlating matter spectra.

Heretofore unmentioned is the Quintessence. The Quintessence is the twin of AEther, whose actions sparked the rapid expansion of special, or dark, matter within most iterations of the universe that exist across the parallels. The Quintessence is a silent sibling of AEther, who followed along with AEther’s various trials and tribulations, a shadow as AEther issued like a smoke across existence. The Quintessence was happy to observe the actions of its sibling, sometimes frustrated that it was only an observer when AEther was in peril and they both felt whatever excruciating pain AEther might be experiencing in its ethereal form.

Billions of years ago, when the movement of Space and Time was much slower than it is today, when Time was not so cruel and Space was not so full of injury, the Quintessence was fine to be the Silent.

But the children of the creator could not sit still when their parents were attacked by a hostile force. Even the Quintessence was called to action, though some were rightly afraid that unleashing the awesome powers of the Quintessence would accelerate the doom of all existence.

It is a conflict that played out across the many parallels of existence, billions of years ago, that shaped the nature of the multiverse, and the many beings and entities that existed therein.
