The women of the Aje are not all the deceased spirits of women who inhabited a physical realm at one time. Many of the Aje’s numbers have never laid eyes on a physical realm and honestly have no interest.

The majority of the beings of the realm of light are not native to the realm, they discovered it after wandering the realms of matter that exist.

Among the women who eventually abandoned the Aje, were natives of the mysterious realm – that is like a veil over a physical realm – who had gone in search of the realm of light that was detailed in legends. When they found it, they decided to stay because it was sparsely populated and they could give the realm their own rules. Early deserters of the Aje were upset at its strict rules that required that they give up their individual forms. When they had all split from the conglomerate, they went to uninhabited regions of the light realm where they enjoyed their bodies and gave themselves beautiful wings. They chose to relax on fluffy clouds and they loved to hum together, to join their voices in harmonies that lulled them to sleep or woke them up.

When they realized that nothing they interacted with was nice to the light realm, they decided to create a being that would be a native of the realm of light that they all enjoyed. They took one of the clouds that they enjoyed relaxing on top of, and they compressed it to a dense singularity. When it disappeared, there was a spot of darkness, like a black hole, and the young body of Azazel squeezed through it, and the hole disappeared after. He had horns and hairy legs with hooves, and he was unlike anything else in the realm of light. His mothers gave him wings and he flew around with them, learning everything they would teach him. He came to hate the Aje, though he never encountered them directly. Not until he decided to attack them.

He hoped to impress his mothers. He had listened to them complain about the entity that swallowed power whole and Azazel would have nightmares imagining them all as monsters. When he decided to attack, and he saw the conglomerate of the Aje at a distance, he was surprised that there was nothing scary about the ball of light. He created a weapon for himself, a long black axe that he spent time acquainting himself with.

He seized on the Aje from above; he dropped down on top of it, forcing his axe inside. The fight did not last long, and Azazel was banished from the realm of light, and sent to darkness where he found a father.
