Ghost Stories

* * *

There you are again, back for more I presume. Very well, it only gets worse, dear reader.

October got cold really fast this year and my instinct is to be inside, as though it is a legitimate retreat from spookie things that dominate the season. You can’t hide from the vengeance of angry spirits.

The curse on the PRL offices persists, and yet, so do we. The stories are stronger than any curse and we will not be deterred. We will only grow. We tell the stories to avoid the reality. We hope that you receive the message.

See you soon for the frightening conclusion.

Tonight:

– – –

The moment is at hand. He is upon us. He will wrap his tentacles around the world.

Illuminatos: “Becca and her boyfriend Damarcus are out late tonight enjoying the crisp cool and the warmth that they make together. They lie on a blanket watching the stars in the rural setting of New Salem, North Carolina. The sky has so many stars, there is no light pollution for miles, and the two love to come out here to be alone and get away from everything.”

– – –

The story concludes, and things will continue to decline for Kyle as Orbison returns for his revenge.

Poor Orbison: “When he returned home after his initial arrest, he was met by a silent attendant who looked at him earnestly. Kyle had never considered the man’s face, his humanity really, and he was confronted by it in the moment. The man was probably in his fifties and he was graying. The lines in his face accentuated the sadness that he exuded.”

And finally, follow us to Bromeran where we will meet a librarian who will be consumed by her ambitions, and learn more about the legend of The First People.

Steady Leadership: “Iris sits alone in a house that she bought for herself. It is not big…to Iris who had bought her house in order to perfectly curate her own comfort. Outside of her home, Iris is pulled in many directions, Iris is everything to a lot of people. When she is inside of her home, though, she can relax and let go of the burden.”
