I want to stress that this is not the tale of the first humans to walk the Earth, but it is the tale of the first extraordinary people who pushed humanity to its limits.

Dr. Samuel Davenport, from 1923 Introduction of The First People

The First People have not been verified in the strictest sense; there are no frozen specimens, no fossil record, no ruins or structures that evidence a pre-ancient culture; but that does not mean that it is not true.

Dr. Lynnette Jones, from 1990 Introduction of The First People

Least Possible Future (Amazing Alia, the Alia Bk. *): “…I don’t want to risk Eakran getting his hands on you or Clay. I don’t want him doing experiments on you guys, too. He might clone you or something. I’ll keep it up with Yuri, it should be over soon enough. Either he’ll come as a friend or we have another fight to fight.”

Clay is still shook from last week and he is hoping to fill the gaps left by his own prejudices. In order to be a better protector, Clay decides that it’s time for a night out at a bar. And an old foe returns to spoil it.

Fusion (Diode Bk. 2): “Clay had a long talk with Ivan about Sam and both men realized their aversion to what is considered mainstream gay culture. Ivan had avoided it because of stigma from his family, and Clay never felt comfortable being the sexual object of other men. But he is taking his new role as protector of his neighborhood very seriously and he would make it known that open hostilities towards homosexuals would not be tolerated.”

The old man is back and of course he is looking for a killer. By the end of this one-shot, he may be looking for two.

Old Man Young and the Con Man’s Daughter (One-Shots): “Colston is dead now and Young resists the temptation to say that he deserved it. He deserved more than what he got at the end, he deserved to face justice to answer for his crimes. Someone had cheated justice and Young wants to know who it was. ”

People are extraordinary, don’t let anyone tell you different. And if you really think about it, it makes sense, of course we are extraordinary. How else did we survive to dominate the planet?

Conceivable Differences (One-Shots): “You were not born with certain skills, you had to learn them. They became easier with practice, and eventually, those not witnessed to your struggle, told you that you make the skill look easy. ”

Isabel is visited and then given a mission. She meets the warriors and she accepts the keys, but is she stable enough to understand the great honor bestowed upon her?

Saterna (Limited Series): “The Aje wants goodness for all, she is the protector of civilization, and as such, the true Aje does not discriminate. But cultural practices have warped that intent and overlaid ideas of supremacy that are rooted in skin color where darker shades are considered inferior to lighter ones.”
