I want to stress that this is not the tale of the first humans to walk the Earth, but it is the tale of the first extraordinary people who pushed humanity to its limits.

Dr. Samuel Davenport, from 1923 Introduction of The First People

The First People have not been verified in the strictest sense; there are no frozen specimens, no fossil record, no ruins or structures that evidence a pre-ancient culture; but that does not mean that it is not true.

Dr. Lynnette Jones, from 1990 Introduction of The First People

Excerpt from The First People

They were man before man was even a concept and they were extraordinary. Some were taller than houses, some could change their shape, and all of the ones who survived to interact with humanity could mingle and produce offspring. They gave us magic.

INFRARED – Part 1 – The Door Opens

There are so many realms of existence, as many as there are cells in your body. There are mirror realms that are indistinguishable from our own, dark realms that would make the hairs on your neck stand up, and then there are ones completely taken over by intense forces that human beings cannot exist in naturally. The Red Father demonstrates that persistence pays off, but what is the reward for persistent petulance? The first crossover event of 2018 starts here!

POWER: “He was a strong and capable man. He could hunt antelope on his own, and he could start a fire on his first try; he put dried grass on stone and then struck it with another rock only once to create the spark that eventually sent a fire raging. He was virile, and attractive to females of the tribe that he associated with, and he fathered many children when he was biologically capable.”

Alia is ready to put a stop to the Red Father, and she is collecting friends to help. She is with Clay and the Don, and they don’t exactly see eye to eye. If anyone can whip a team into shape, though, it’s the Alia.

Least Possible Future (Amazing Alia, the Alia Bk. *): “Alia is speechless. It’s true the Don is from an older generation and culture that is not comfortable with homosexuality, but Alia is stunned that he can disrespect Clay to his face in this time of crisis.”

The story continues, and as upset as Clay is to be at odds with Ivan’s grandfather, a new player emerges that shifts his focus. Say it with me everyone: Crude is back!

Fusion (Diode Bk. 2): “…he hears a loud yell in the distance. It is familiar, but he can’t place it and he wanders out of his room, then out of his back door, into the dark of the early morning where both Alia and the Don are already standing and looking off in the direction of the loud roar. ”

Wendy has her hands full. When she isn’t training with the ancestors, the witch Miriro and her annoying descendant Rhode keep popping up. Not to mention the ngozi and the Red Father. It’s good to have support with a huge load, and Wendy is about to unite with the best.

Family Ties (The Brave Chimutengwende Bk. 1): “Wendy doesn’t understand the chaos that her life has been for the past two months, but it’s been very good for her morale to be distracted from feelings of loneliness that had made her life miserable as of late. She hadn’t thought about the temptress Maria, or the dead love of her life, and she even took a sabbatical from work so that she could use all of the vacation and sick days she had accumulated over the course of her employment at the IBF.”

I think I would have chosen the crew ship, but if you can manage the single passenger vessel like Whadgaf, there are advantages that would be helpful in a race such as this one.

Agent Red (Time Trials): “Whadgaf loves her ship. She wonders if Frial had rigged it to explode regardless of the outcome of their race; actually, she was sure that he could kill her as long as she occupied the ship, but she had killed every living member of his family, and if he decided to take his revenge, Whadgaf decided that she would not fight him.”

The durine unlike any other is full of surprises. Even when e was young, e was defying convention; shorter than normal and ready to break social norms!

The God Tests:  “God does not mind eris current predicament. It was bound to happen, e had Falstraq to thank for avoiding this fate much sooner. It seems that God was always doomed to toil in forced labor, e was destined to rankle the society around erim because e is unlike any Druinte before erim.”
