Humanity has clawed its way to a precipice. We have claimed this planet Earth as our own – we dominate the air, land, and sea, and the creatures that dwell therein. We are the masters of our domain. The collective “we” demonstrates the pervasive will of the common man to outsmart predators in their own environs, to thrive in hostile terrain, to produce offspring to carry on their legacy, though it is true that not all humans are capable and productive. Humanity can be very proud of itself on the whole, however. But humanity cannot be complacent. The future is bound to reveal new threats to our species and we must be ready to meet them.
Hence this book, the tale of the best of humanity who faced an unfathomable threat by embracing their extraordinary humanity. The best of ancient humanity, the first people, have descendants who survive to this day and it is of utmost importance to the continuation of the human race that these lineages be preserved and protected from contamination through crossbreeding with degenerate lineages. The corrupt germ plasm of certain family groups have been proven to propagate negative social traits, such as criminality, that cannot be allowed to taint the pristine bloodline of the descendants of these first people.
I want to stress that this is not the tale of the first humans to walk the Earth, but it is the tale of the first extraordinary people who pushed humanity to its limits. The first genius, the first explorer, the first philosopher; these are the first people who have been lost to history who were able to survive the greatest threat to life on Earth that has ever occurred.
Most will look at this as a work of fiction. I assure you that it is not. These men and women did exist, and their offspring are the true architects of history. We are the arbiters of the future and we will save humanity from the threats that most cannot fathom.
