Conner hasn’t eaten in months. He doesn’t experience hunger anymore; his stomach stopped growling and he doesn’t hear the wet noises that he is used to from his midsection.

He went searching for his father a while ago now. He has retained most of his memories, and he can control his body, but his vision is different, as though he is staring through blinders that narrow his vision. He and the girl Sarah that he had dragged along with him made their way to Durham, NC in search of Dr. Roy Worthington and they have been banging around the home that Dr. Worthington uses when he is in town. Conner had spent time there before he went to college. It looks different now; not just because of the mess the two have made. Everything is different to Conner now. He likes to watch things explode in a chaos of their components and everything fragile in the house is shattered. Neither he nor Sarah wear shoes and they both have cuts on their feet from the glass in the kitchen that covers the floor.

Conner doesn’t know where to find his father and he has decided to wait for him to turn up. He has to come to Durham, Conner reasons, he has a job in Durham. But Conner also forgot why he felt such a strong urge to see his father. It had came on all of a sudden, the desire to see the chaos of his father’s components explode. It is his only real motivation. And he would be more proactive about finding the man, maybe make some calls or check at the other houses he owns, but Conner has trouble holding multiple thoughts in his mind. He will wait for his father and break stuff in the meantime, have sex with Sarah, get into violent fights with her, and then do it all over again.
