There is a device that contains details of all time and existence from the start and as it marches forward. This device is a God Machine; its machinations are wondrous to all sentient beings of the universe, or it would be if its existence was widely known. These are the tales from the Aeternus.
Approaching Eternity 4 (Solse and Joel in the Xx cont.)
“I have a new location. We should pack things up. We are coming to the edge of the banned regions.” Joel stands behind Solse who is focused on the screen. “We need to reinforce the thrusters to make sure we can jump back to the safe zone…”
Joel is talking, but Solse isn’t listening. It is all starting to come together for him.

Whadgaf is on the rampage and this time, the casualty of her rage won’t live to fly again.
Agent Red: “Marfgad watched as members of the order struggled to even approach Whadgaf, as if her screech were a solidly moving wind that moved them. In all of Marfgad’s life, she had not heard a screech so loud and with so much force.”

A good leader knows how to make an unpopular decision that is ultimately beneficial to the people. Lead Scientist Duraq 33 shows his mettle.
Druinte Social Society: “You should not be so shocked. I am speaking to you in confidence, but my predecessors studied the orphan problem extensively. Duraq 32 commissioned the secret study to track suicide rates among you social Druintes and the data is clear. Suicide did not exist in your city.”

Say hello to the Fhet Kings. They are the rulers of the most ruthless civilization in the known universe. Today, the origin of the king of section 16.
Fhet Kings (One-Shots): “His mother taught him to use the small arsenal of weapons that her security had left for him and she made him understand his mission and all that he was fighting for. Their destinies were definitely intertwined; depending on Re’s success, his mother would either become an exalted Fhet Queen, or be exiled from the home she had known since her marriage to King Rael.”

There’s new trouble on the horizon as Ivan and Clay settle into their new life together. Clay is contemplating revenge and Ivan is trying to be the cooler head. He’s trying.
Love as Power (Diode Bk. 1): “He wouldn’t let Clay kill the man, but maybe he deserved it. If Jamar had managed to kill Clay, Ivan wondered if he would have exacted revenge. And then the thought infuriated Ivan and Clay saw his eyes sharpen with rage as green fires raged from each of them.”

Kevin deals with the zombie and we flashback to his time at the CIA facility with the scientist Fritz Parsons. I wonder what the flashback portents. It can’t be anything good.
Amazing Elroy (Amazing Elroy, The Magician Bk. 2): “The device in Kevin’s brain was complex in many ways. Not only could it manipulate matter, but it was apparently technology that blurred the line between science and nature. The device was definitely manufactured to integrate into naturally occurring biological structures.”

The blogger wants to take things to the next level with Solse. I wonder how he will respond.
Romances and Mazes: “I was having a hard time with all of it. It’s hard to fathom that a person could change so much in so little time. But I didn’t change. A part of myself that was hidden to me was revealed and I am happy for that, to know how these feelings truly affect me. ”
