Did you watch the season finale of Game of Thrones? Holy crap I’m excited about next season. If you haven’t seen it, you don’t have to worry about spoilers from me, but watch it immediately. Now that the season is over, there’s nothing worth watching and we can all turn off the TV until the premier of season 7. And since TV is done for the summer, let us here at the PRL provide you with some interesting stories to occupy your time.

Before we get into, I wanted to talk about an interesting Facebook conversation I drank myself into last night. I was having a few beers and winding down from the work week and I found myself in a heated discussion about the presumptive Republican nominee, Donald Trump. I realized that there are a lot of really smart people who are backing the man because they think he is a genuine person who is just like them. They consider him to be self made and a picture of the success that is attainable in the US with hard work. This is the basis of my criticism of the man. He is a proven manipulator, yet his supporters proclaim that he is a straight shooter. He is not self made, he inherited wealth and privilege. I don’t understand how anyone who was not born into a rich family can identify with the man. But over the course of my drunken conversation, it seemed that Trump has so successfully sold a narrative of himself that it’s impossible to convince someone that they have been had. He is everything that he accuses Hillary Clinton of being which makes his attacks on her flaccid. Admittedly, Clinton isn’t doing very much to endear herself to the voting public, but the foundation of Trump’s run is his outsider status and that is such a myth that it’s laughable. Trump is the picture of what has been wrong with politics for so long. He will say and do anything to get what he wants and he doesn’t care about the consequences of his words. He was the most vocal alleging that President Obama was not born in the US, and that was his first, very savvy political move to endear himself to the voting public that insists that Obama is the worst president in US history. History will reveal the truth on the Obama legacy, and it’s possible that the worst thing about his presidency will be the hatred that he stirred up in the population that now wants Trump to follow him and “clean up his messes”. It’s very sad and I hope that before November, Trump continues to show his true colors and people come to their senses. I’m not saying vote for Hillary, though I probably will, but make sure you vote against Donald Trump. There will be a 3rd party on the ticket. You can always write in Bernie. But please don’t let Trump become president of the US.

Rant over, soap box discarded and burned. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

There are three offices and there is a hallway separating two of the offices from the other that is the biggest. Here’s another chapter in the most electrifying PRL Heroes story of the summer. In the aftermath of Issue 1, a woman deals with the clean up and finds herself in another mess.

Diode (One-Shots): “Following the shooting at the apartment complex where Ivan lived with his family, the landlord, a lady with a very short temper, stood in the doorway looking at the apartment where one of the tenets had been shot. There was viscera staining the carpet and though the crime scene cleanup crew would eventually make their way to that apartment, the landlord was furious. ”
