Time was still before its current movement and it had a different name. Then, its name was unpronounceable and it sat in Space who surrounded it in darkness. Space also had a different name them and the two spoke to one another as they do now, in a language that is impossible to transcribe, but records of their conversations are recorded in the subtle movements and patterns of existence. When Time was still and covered by Space, they enjoyed peace together, but the interactions of two things are not always genial, and their arguments produced disturbances in Space, who was particularly sensitive and easily wounded by Time’s sometimes cruel nature and sense of humor. Eventually, these disturbances in Space amassed and holes began to spread all over Space. And Time stirred from its position, curious of the damage that it had caused, and found itself perpetually moving in search because Space was seemingly infinite. And when Space saw that Time was moving, it moved with, and so existence, and Time and Space as we know them, began.
In the damaged parts of Space, strange things were birthed, and things began to change in the expansive body of Space. Time and Space ignored the small changes; Time is too busy cataloging the wholesale of the damage it has created in Space, and Space is too busy chasing after its companion. Unbeknownst to the both of them, they were creating miracles on a miniscule scale from their perspective and the dusts and fires that would eventually create the Earth as we humans know it was among them. But Earth is just one tiny miracle of the seemingly infinite miracles that constitutes the bruises on Space’s expansive body. Among the first borne from a bruise in Space was AEther, a being who moved and permeated the spaces where Space was damaged and things were moving.
