Halloween Special Vol. I, Issue 2 – October 22, 2014

Time to Read:

1–2 minutes

I realize now that I should have put a “Reader Discretion Is Advised” notice on the first Halloween Issue, but it didn’t occur to me then (that Silas in Hell is kinda brutal). So I’ll say it now, the Halloween Issues are graphic and if you’re not old enough to watch an R rated movie, then you shouldn’t be reading these stories. The Golem is pretty innocuous, much more family friendly, so check that out if the others are a little much.

I hope you enjoyed the PRL Poetry half issue. Look for more between Issues 2 and 3, and Issues 3 and 4 of the Halloween Special; Issue 2½ will go live this weekend. Silas in Hell will return in Issue 3 for an Over-Sized Two-Parter that will concluded in Issue 4 on October 31, 2014; in his place, enjoy the first (and probably only) Halloween Special One-Shot by yours truly. See you again soon!

This week:

The story continues, and today you get to see what all the fuss is about.

Illuminatos: “She slapped me hard when she realized I wasn’t looking at the screen. ‘He’s doing this shit live, pay attention.’”

– – –

Sarah starts her journey into darkness…

The Golem: “You know what she did? She went looking for him, or the Golem that took him. She ran right into the darkness. She’s as old as she is because she’s not afraid of the dark, Sarah.”

– – –

And lastly; sometimes we choose to stand on the sidelines while bad things happen because we are immobilized by shock or fear. The guy in this dark comedy was just hoping someone was doing his dirty work for him.

A Painful Breakup (One-Shot): “Charlotte isn’t really a dangerous place, but you never know who’s lurking, waiting to take advantage of the dark.”
