Time to Read:

3–4 minutes

I said it yesterday, and I will probably say it five more times before we’re done, but we’re one issue away from the exciting conclusion of PRL Serials Volume I: It Exists, starring the man with his preternatural ability on his way to the Pacific Ocean to become the man everyone knows he can be (or that he already is). Enjoy Issue 11 and get ready for next week when we see the return of Old Man Young, the debut of a new Legacy Series, and the exciting conclusions of your favorites. The archives will update tomorrow and you know I got a rant about something for you all, so get ready for that.

This week:

It’s one more to the end and the man has almost reached his destination. Too bad there’s an alien scientist on his tail, tracking something that neither of them really knows all that much about. So what is it then?

It Exists Issue 11 (Amazing Elroy, The Magician Bk. 0): “The beacon device that Eakran has is similar to a smartphone and … The message on his beacon means nothing to him, but he has a nagging suspicion that it should. It is not in English, but when translated it says something like ‘DRK. MATR. MAN. REBOOT SUCCESS.’”

Its that time again; our good friend Rebel Max flashes forward to the mid-century when the weather has reclaimed the Earth from the humans that neglected it for so long. Find out what kind of job Max has in the future.

Rebel Max in the 21st and Half Century One Shot (Issue 2): “Early on a cold September morning in the Appalachian mountains, Rebel Max will stand eyes closed, feeling the sunlight warming his face. It will be the first time that Max has seen the sun in weeks;”

In the present day, Max is at the Ladoga Public Library (LPL). Max details the surprisingly interesting history of the town’s two libraries and why he will always love the LPL.

Selections from Rebel Max’s Journal (Vol. 1): The Reverend Dr. vs Job: “…I was in Ladoga for my book club meeting at the public library. It’s a mixed group of people, most are middle-aged women, and the youngest is in his late twenties. The librarian who organizes the club, Lebarbara Wilson, is the head librarian and she is a very authoritative woman in her sixties.”

I think this is the last issue of Emma in Volume I. I know, I know, its so sudden and there’s one more issue left in the Volume, but after this week’s Selection from Rebel Max’s Journal, I think next week will be the perfect time to debut an all new PRL Legacy Series. Let’s say goodbye to Emma with a flashfoward and if you’re a fan, look out for the continuation in the Volume I Outtakes that will debut 2 to 3 weeks after Issue 12. Goodbye for now Emma.

Emma (or The Artist) I (PRL Legacy Series): “..spoiler alert, Emma creates art into her nineties, and by that time she will be known for thought provoking collages of pictures and other print media that are long obsolete.”

The saga continues. Valeria and Uncle Thomas discuss music this week, and Wes has a sneaking suspicion about his dream girl.

Superman Lover Part 3: “‘You like my music, Valeria?’ My uncle asked as we stayed up later and drank more than Valeria would normally on a weeknight. ‘It creates a nice atmosphere,’ she said, ‘honestly, I don’t mind it but how do you tell one horn from next?’”

Its a veritable all-star issue for Stone Hand this week. Remember the hand that bore Stone Hand, the Critic who hated him?

Stone Hand (leaders and Leadership):  “Accepted as a son of four fathers–Jobs, Ghandhi/ Windsor, and Augustine–Stone Hand’s expertise/ is deferred to in times of crisis…”
