Welcome back to the the PaRaLlel Serials! Its Issue 10 and we are so close to the end of Volume I that I can taste (it tastes like chicken and sweet sweet resolution). This week, there is a sort of crossover that I didn’t want to make a big deal about yesterday, but I will today. Be sure to check out Issue 10 of It Exists and stick around to the end for clues to the exciting conclusion of the man’s journey to the Pacific. The One-Shot also informs Issue 10 of It Exists, and its pulling double duty because its the behind the scenes of last week’s One-Shot. Hope you enjoy and we will see you tomorrow for the mid-week post! (In case you were wondering, Thursday is our midweek because once upon a time the issues went live at midnight on Sunday, so we counted Monday to Wednesday, then Friday to Sunday.)

The man is playing it fast and loose in NM. Let the man be a lesson to everyone, alcohol only makes you say and do things you would keep to yourself otherwise, so only use it when you’re too afraid to say or do something you should say or do (of course, I kid). This week, the man does what feels right, then some stuff he can’t control. And be sure to check out the exciting cameo at the end of this week’s issue!

It Exists Issue 10 (Amazing Elroy, The Magician Bk. 0): “The man thinks that most people must be that way; completely full of blame and worthy of punishment but saved by others too ashamed to walk away and let the chips fall where they should. ”

Here it is, the follow up to last week’s very strange look into the lives of two box turtles and two koalas, starring everyone’s favorite alien doctor!

Made in America (The Universal Translator One-Shot): “Among the technologies Eakran brought with him to Earth was the Pod Traveler (similar to a car but capable of traveling the entire circumference of the earth in about half an hour) and the Universal Translator. If the planet of Druont has an equivalent to the Earth television, it is the Universal Translator…”

Oh no, Max is in trouble this week. I told him, there’s no hope with dope; or lying to your long-time girlfriend about quitting.

Selections from Rebel Max’s Journal (Vol. 1): Why I Quit Smoking Marijuana, With Maps: “‘Is it true?’ Mary was standing in the doorway of our bedroom and I was lying in bed trying to drown out the sound of her question that got louder every time she repeated it. ‘Maxwell, is it true?’ I was embarrassed to tell her the truth; yes, I smoke marijuana…”

Emma is winding down her day, listening to some new stories, making art. The piece she’s working on might sound familiar (hint: see Issue 5)

Emma (or The Artist) I (PRL Legacy Series): “Despite the fact that she had a studio, Emma liked to work in her apartment because it calmed her nerves and helped her to let go of all the strands of thought she’d amassed over the day. After she had showered off the grime of the day and relaxed in her pajamas, Emma sat on her couch with the radio on, slowly dismantling a mop.”

Wes is a lucky man. He dates and marries beautiful women and he gets to write (brag) about it to strangers on the internet. Well done, Mr. Livingston, well done. This week, Wes continues the story about the genesis of his relationship with Valeria.

Superman Lover Part 2: “Ultimately, it was a good decision for me to be so close to nature and to someone who dedicated her life to understanding nature’s secrets and patterns. Valeria has given me an appreciation for man’s place in the vastness of the universe. ”

This week, Stone Hand is a little tired. But it’s not a big deal, everybody has to sleep sometime right?

Stone Hand (leaders and Leadership):  “Stone Hand merely adopts heroic airs,/ he is just stone-man when smoke clears/ And his head bobs as he fights fatigue/ like every other fallible man he may rule…”
