Did you read the Made in America One-Shot yet? If so, you’ve probably got some questions; like what’s up with the talking turtles and koalas? Well, my friend, you’ll have to come back next week to find out.
I am currently reading Arthur C. Clarke’s Childhood’s End and I’ve gotten to the part where the aliens that came to Earth and did beneficial things for its people, finally reveal their physical appearance to the world’s population. I won’t spoil it for anyone, but the whole thing is extremely interesting and thought provoking, and the reason I decided to read it in the first place; I was watching a Science Channel show, the Prophets of Science Fiction, where they reviewed the plots of his works and discussed ways that modern science has caught up to the fiction. Childhood’s End begs a discussion about perceptions and the ways that we form our definitions of good and evil. I’m eager to see where the book goes, and also to hear other opinions if anyone out there on the internet has read the book before. Or you can read it and then come back and let me know what you think.
Next week, we inch closer to the exciting Vol. I conclusion. In addition to the Made in America One-Shot, Issue 10 has the man of It Exist drunk in NM, Emma finally meeting the end of a full day, Stone Hand dozing, more Rebel Max in Ladoga, and Wes loving on Valeria. You could miss it, but I would advise against it. See you next week!
