Time to Read:

2–3 minutes

It looks like the man of It Exists is headed to jail or prison, proving that no good deed goes unpunished. But the man is resourceful, maybe he’ll pull a rabbit out of his hat that will distract the detective long enough to slip away (that’s not a spoiler, just conjecture).

Congrats again to Wes for wrapping up his series, definitely check out Let the Beat Build if you haven’t already. His part 4 contains a plea to men everywhere to look out for the women folk, which felt kinda left field at first, but it needed to be said. The Let the Beat Build page link will disappear when the new issue appears, so be sure to read it before then.

I wonder if we can expect a serial from Max in the future about his doomsday scenario? I for one could definitely read more of it.

Max wanted me to mention that his journal stories will become more incendiary after the break. He has one about NC voting laws, another about homelessness and lunacy, and another about the powers that be in Ladoga. Maybe I should take a trip to Ladoga, I only know it through Max.

Emma (or The Artist) will debut another art piece in the next issue. An Emma exhibition is probably infinitely interesting, multiple rooms of her installations about the crazy things she’s witnessed. But since we don’t have that, enjoy the first 4 issues of her story so far instead.

Stone Hand seems to be coming into his own, it must be a little disheartening to know that any prowess he amasses will eventually be ceded to the bugs, but us humans can’t live forever.

Issue 5 will see the return of the Made In America One-Shots. Who, or what will we meet next issue? Come back on July 28, 2014 to find out. Also, get ready for the debut of The Origins of Magic Limited Series. Some questions will be answered, some will be asked, others will be ignored, and it will definitely be thought provoking. That’s what the ‘P’ in PRL stands for, just provoking (the ‘R’ is for ‘really?’, and the ‘L’ is for ‘lovers’).

The Parallel Serials. Home of the 3 A’s; art, aliens, and adventure. Also the three Z’s, but that’s a trade secret we’re keeping close to the chest. Enjoy your July and we’ll see you back here on the 28th!
